Unfortunately found out this weekend that a very nice lady I know lost her daughter in the DC crash. Very bright young woman. Incredibly sad situation as she saw the breaking news on television and knew her daughter was on the flight.

Those leaders offered solutions that were more beneficial to their country than the US.. Just as any other leader would. Neither you or I know what the actual deal or proposal stated. The president clearly did and obviously it wasn’t enough of a commitment for him, so he placed the tariffs. it is just that simple.

If that is true, which I doubt, then good for us. I think they could have got that agreement without all the drama, but you are correct. You and I won't know. I hope it's over because I personally enjoy the lax border policy we have for citizens of both countries.
Where did I say I’m absolving the military? Hence, there wasn’t a single point of failure. I’m guessing you’ve never flown. Do you have the CRJ insight, and directions to follow that traffic when there was a plane taking off, at night, is absolutely not clear.
It must have been clear to the helicopter because they never asked for clarification.
When is the last time the US had a trade surplus with Canada? What existing tariffs that Canada has on US goods are the good ones that make the trade relationship a good one?
The trade agreement was negotiated and signed by the current president. What sense does it make to start fighting over something he created? Did the trade deficit get worse since 2020?
Also, if trade was the issue, why not start off by trying to negotiate a new deal before going off and threatening tarrifs?
This wasn’t really about trade. Keep up. It’s about immigration and border security. Canada let’s just about everybody in.

It’s not completely true and his statement is disingenuous at best. May have already been stated but they have not recovered the flight recorder from the chopper. Flight recorders are considered the most accurate and reliable measure of altitude, speed etc… The flight recorder on the air jet says it was at 325 feet when it struck the helicopter. Now… The records from the air traffic control tower say the helicopter was at 200 ft. So currently there is a 125 foot discrepancy between the plane’s flight data recorder and the tower records. The gov’t has yet to provide an explanation for this 125 foot discrepancy and is waiting for the flight data from the blackhawk to hopefully clear things up.
Remember, the flight data recorder is considered the most accurate record available.

I occassionally fish in Canada. I think it's awesome that our neighbor and friend let's thousands of Amercians fish in Canada for cheap. Americans can even fish in Canadian border waters without a passport or going through customs. That benefits Amercians more than Canadians and I would hate to see that shut down over something that could be resolved without a bunch of drama.
Didn’t say it was about trade alone. Are all the tariffs of Canada onto US goods within the 2020 agreement?
Putting pressure on a country that relies on US goods more than we rely on theirs into the US is a good thing to get concessions for things like enforcing border security, something the nation should already be doing.

Yeah. It’s was perfectly clear to the helo. They saw the inbound CRJ and the pilot said, hold my beer, check this shit out and ran right into it. That makes perfect sense.
No it was perfectly clear they saw the wrong plane . They were asked multiple times even once after receiving visual separation. They answered affirmative every time. This is totally on the helicopter flight crew . But you and Dingle won’t accept that.
