1. A couple athletic Small Forward/Power Forward players... getting that Italian kid from Evansville will be a start
2. A true Point Guard... Blue and Lawrence are NOT GOOD BALL HANDLERS
3. To a lesser extent, but still necessary a Rim protector... None of your Euro boys are going to be good at that

This season Walter Clayton had 4.2 assists per game and 2.4 turnovers per game. Brice Williams had better offensive numbers than Clayton. Perhaps you would like to describe how Walter Clayton is a "true point guard," as opposed to a shooting guard that just played his first full season as a "point guard" this year.

Nope... never seen him play. Didn't see him turn down the layup and dripple out for the 3 against Texas Tech. He played point and was the leader on the court. Was he Chris Paul no, but he controlled the pace of the games. I have watched more college basketball than I care to admit. So don't ever come at me with this argument.

Could he play the 2... without a doubt! Could he play the point... well didn't he just win a NC doing that?

I have watched Lawrence play and he is not even close to a leader on the court. He ia not a guy that can take over games and control the pace. That is what I am getting at, you can disagree if you want. However, you are incorrect with this argument big shooter.

2) I will readily admit I have different expectations for the basketball team (lower) than the football program. I expect more out of the football program. I also currently think FH is getting more out of his guys than MR. Hope that changes this year.

3) I have been critical of Rhule and the football program, however a 9-3 season would certainly be major improvement from what we have seen. I would not be satisfied, however, but it would be a lie to not see improvement there. Would you recognize that as improvement, while not being satisfied? It almost seems like you are worried we might be good enough to go 9-3 so you are preemptively making fun of fans who would think it's progress.

For me, please define "blown out" so we no beforehand what that means. A 10 point loss? Worse?

Luis is in the portal but probably won't play another year of college ball. Even with his tournament meltdown, his draft stock should be pretty high and I think he will go that route.

Bo then never did anything else, showed undeniable disdain and underperformance in recruiting, and treated fans like crap.

We didn't fire him for the season we hope Matt Rhule has next year. We fired him for having the same season, every year, (in a crap B12 North) and showing the same coaching mistakes. Carl was definitely a scumbag. I think Bo had good intentions. He just couldn’t control his emotions. He wasn’t ready to be the head coach at NU. He was trying to run NFL schemes without much NFL talent at the end.
