The last guy you want picking a QB is BB IMO. They need to try to sign Cousins. Bill won’t put up with another rookie.
The Titans must have struck out. I don't know if I fire Vrabel for Callahan. I'll probably be wrong, but that seems suspect.
Maybe they were hoping he could bring Joe with him? That's all I got for a reason.
I get the reasoning a little bit as a bunch of teams have had success with the super young OC's and so maybe that is their plan, but I don't know. That one seems like a stretch to me.
Oh my god, can you imagine two interviewees that would be more awkward??? I can't.
I mean, I know they are not really "interviewing" as much as it is just a conversation BUT still imagine talking to Bill or Jim for more than 15 minutes.
Those of you that actually do the interviewing...how fast do you know if you are going to hire the person or not? I have a friend in HR (totally worthless position, sorry) and she (of course, it is always a hot girl) said she basically knows within the first few minutes.

For a relatively small sample size, it is crazy how much turnover there is every year at head coach.
The whole league is super impatient with coaches. Fans are no different. I wanted Sirianni gone, but looks like the Eagles brass is going to give him at least one more year, albeit with new coordinators and vast overhauls of the staff below.
beyond stupid to want him gone when he's top 3 winning % amongst active head coaches.

Eagles fans generally aren't as stupid as Cowboys/Chiefs fans, but they really try to be.

Morris is an odd choice. Not only was he 4-7 as the interim head coach for the Falcons, he was 17-31 in three seasons as Tampa Bay's head coach.
I guess the Falcons decided to zig when everyone else zags. How many defensive-minded coaches are being hired these days?
reports coming out that Belichick was asking to be GM as well and the Falcons remembered how terrible he is at that part.

Yeah. Let's hire a 70 something year old curmudgeon who has a terrible history of drafting offensive players. And we'll pair him with our younger superstar qb. The guy who hired a DC as his OC. What could go wrong.

I'd like to think Mahomes would have to sign off in that and I find it difficult to believe he'd do that so this will prolly take care of itself and never come close to fruition

These rumors are so funny. Mike Vrabel has also been linked to Kansas City, a team in the AFC championship with a coach that has shown no signs of wanting to hang it up.
Would shock me if vrabel ist a head coach somewhere. What a backwards world.
Not sure Vrabel fits the Seattle vibe. They're a strange bunch.
