Going 0-8 thus far in the seriously watered down Big 12 isn't good.

He has withstood a number of issues in the past. "I'm a man, I'm 40!" and several others.

Is this the end of Gundy in Stillwater, a school who he has essentially given his life to for about 40 years?

I think he has done a helluva job at Oklahoma State as their head coach for the past 20 years and even had them at the precipice of truly sniffing a National Title.

But going winless in a 16 team league of leftovers isn't good.

The bizarre comment he made about fans “unable to pay their bills” was pretty ugly, particularly in the era of needing NIL money from who are essentially fans.

Still though, he is a much better coach than they deserve and they will sink into irrelevancy if they get rid of him

You get a like if for no other reason than referencing. "I'm a man, i'm 40!"

I wonder if Holgersen would be a candidate there if Gundy were to be fired. Maybe not this year.
Possibly. But Dana also flamed out an a Big 12 school and a 2nd one if you count Houston but only 1 year in big 12. I don’t think he’d be their first choice.

We can out pay OSU. I say 2.5 million, full control of offensive assistants, and all the women and booze he wants.
It’s not the money it’s the “full control of offensive assistants” part that gives me pause. Could this be a long term marriage between Rhule and Holgerson? At least for a couple years?

I think Rhule would be very wise to approach it that way. I guess so long as the results are very good vs Iowa and in bowl game then go all in with DH. Give him the keys to the offense and stay out of the way.
