Thinking the same thing, very impressed.Watching KU put on a clinic today at Houston…wouldn’t be upset at all if Trev zones in on LL
I wanted him when they hired ginger jesusLL has been a winner everyplace he has been. High character guy. Obviously knows Nebraska .
I am all in on him now. I was not but I am now.But what if he insisted on bringing his whole staff with him?
just the end of the 3rd, isn't it?Kansas up 42-21 with 2:00 left in the game. Zero turnovers zero penalties on Kansas.
Their players play with enthusiasm and an edge.
He's been the poster child of building programs to a degree. Others have done well when handed the keys of a finely tuned machine.Watching KU put on a clinic today at Houston…wouldn’t be upset at all if Trev zones in on LL
According to Sipple, who says he has known him for 25 years, Lance would take the job, no question.I’m surprised nobody talks more about his having spent time here as an asst
Of course he would. And I bet he’d be relatively cheap too but is that what we’re looking for?According to Sipple, who says he has known him for 25 years, Lance would take the job, no question.
After Urban, Lance might be my next choice.Of course he would. And I bet he’d be relatively cheap too but is that what we’re looking for?
Might have to settle if we can’t get anyone else.
He’s a great, great hire.Of course he would. And I bet he’d be relatively cheap too but is that what we’re looking for?
Might have to settle if we can’t get anyone else.
Is he better than what we got?Of course he would. And I bet he’d be relatively cheap too but is that what we’re looking for?
Might have to settle if we can’t get anyone else.
Not sure if serious, but he flipped 50% of the roster in one year fwiw.Did Miles recruit him a lot of talent there?
I would think that Trev would not be swayed if Leipold is the guy, unless the wheels fall off. But who knows?Been on the Leipold train for awhile now. I just worry when he drops some games at KU the love fest will be over. I am crossing my fingers for 8 wins so that Nebraska will be okay picking him up.
You expect him to lose some games at Kansas. It is Kansas after all. But he's got those boys believing.Been on the Leipold train for awhile now. I just worry when he drops some games at KU the love fest will be over. I am crossing my fingers for 8 wins so that Nebraska will be okay picking him up.
He's 58. Hardly old by coaching standards. Find better excusesTwo things I don't like about Leipold:
1 - He's almost 60 years old
2 - How would he fix our terrible defense?
I feel like we either need to hire a great defensive coach, or someone that we know will bring a very good D.C.
My only concern:He's 58. Hardly old by coaching standards. Find better excuses
I don't know why he stayed at Whitewater as long as he did. But he skipped a level and went from D3 to D1 and was successful. He worked his way up in his younger years learning the trade. I don't care, the guy clearly knows how to put a team together a staff and a game plan. His teams play hard and they don't beat themselves. Kansas fans know that we are interested in they are worried. My only concern:
He was spectacular at UWW for years. Why was Buffalo the only team to give him a look? And then why only Kansas?
He's got 10 yrs in him I'd guess. He's 58. Hardly old by coaching standards. Find better excuses
Leipold was on the recruiting staff under Solich, so yeah, I am sure Sipple has known him for 25 years.According to Sipple, who says he has known him for 25 years, Lance would take the job, no question.
Oh shitAccording to Sipple, who says he has known him for 25 years, Lance would take the job, no question.
About the same age as Urban. He's 58. Hardly old by coaching standards. Find better excuses
Liepold is Tom Osborne 2.0. I wonder what his buyout is. I think it's very obtainable though because Kansas isn't paying that much right now.According to Sipple, who says he has known him for 25 years, Lance would take the job, no question.
