This thread is hilarious. Nebraska is the football program version of the 45 year old factory worker sitting the bar of the same town that he grew up in with his letterman’s jacket on talking about how he won the state championship in HS. Meanwhile the rest of the world has moved on and left him behind to slowly die. Marriage after marriage fails because no one can live up to the prom queen and no prom queens want anything to do with a pathetic old drunk with a massively over inflated sense of worth. To make yourself feel better you yell at the other team who doesn’t have a state championship, but has now surpassed you in life. It’s a miserable existence that steals joy from your life, not theirs.

Iowa is the equivalent of the 50 year life long loser who just got promoted to middle manager and sits at the bar brags about making 40g a year. His lack of self awareness is stunning as he drunkenly attempts to hit on younger women that make twice as much money as him and mock him behind his back. Even the drunken has beens pity his useless existence. Poor loser doesn’t even have an ex-wife to lament over or even an ex-girlfriend to reminisce about. His sole accomplishment in life is surviving long enough to look down on the people he hates and envy’s. Rest of the world hasn’t moved past him necessarily, they simply don’t know or care that he exists. Nobody to remember him or care what happens to him one way or another. Just an empty existence, like a ship lost at sea whose only possible destination of significance is an unceremonious lonely death.
Iowa fans all told me anything under 10-2 was a failure this year...their team is really old and they have a coach who has been there for 25 years, schedule was real favorable. Their offense still sucks, but they have the second best RB in the nation - makes up for a lot of garbage. They got worked by Ohio St and lost to Mich St who is ass. Kirk is good at beating the teams he is supposed to.

In the "what have you done lately" category - Iowa's football program is significantly ahead of Nebraska's and it hasn't been close for awhile.
Nebraska sucks, Iowa is a solid team every year.
They have a good oline,a great back and use them. That will make a coordinator look good....Quick name a Iowa reciever.

First speaking for myself, I have lived to see the last 60+ seasons so I’ve witnessed 5 national titles and 22 conference championships and Co. 31 major bowl games.

2nd if you’re going by 25 years which just so happens to be the Ferentz era, going into this season the clarkeyes are 196-119 with 2 Co-conference championships and one major bowl win.
Nebraska is 186-128 with one outright conference title and one major bowl win.
Our fan base knows how terrible we’ve been since 2015 so yea you herky’s have been better the last 10 years but haven’t accomplished that much more during the Ferentz era.
If you would beat the teams you're supposed to , maybe you'd find happiness. Just a thought.

I'm 32 years old - Nebraska's best season was when Nebraska lost to Texas in the Big 12 Championship game. Let me repeat that, Nebraska's best season is when they lost the conference championship.
My daughter is a 7th grader, Nebraska hasn't had a winning season since she has been in school.
Since joining the Big Ten - Nebraska is 4-9 against Iowa, which included 7 straight losses.
Nebraska is 1-3 against Colorado and currently, Colorado is the better football program, is bowl eligible and is competing for a conference championship appearance.
Other programs that have hired a new coach and have had success within 2 seasons: Indiana, let's add in UCLA, Duke, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Washington State, Illinois, Washington and Northwestern to just name a few.
As I mentioned earlier, the success Nebraska had 20+ years ago is irrelevant and does not matter. Nebraska's historic traditions of winning, national championships, pointless sellout steak do not matter anymore when the current era Nebraska teams don't follow the tradition.
In the what have you done lately category- Nebraska is at the very bottom. I can't think of a team that has done worse than Nebraska over the past decade.

No other program acts the way you do. I used to respect Iowa before we joined the conference and your fans showed who they really are. Now I see exactly why Illini, Penn State, and Wisco fans can’t stand you and why Minny fans chant “who hates Iowa?” every chance they get.

Nebraska's current definition of success is 6 wins. If the definition of success is competing for a conference championship then Matt Rhule needs to be gone yesterday because he continues to fail at a program that expects 10+ wins every season.
