Iowa or Nebraska: Who has a better year?

We should root for each other to be disruptive and win games; while wanting to win our game. Success should bring attention and aid each program. I am friends with some great Iowa fans. As one poster above said; some Iowa fans voting with their wallets - I believe an article about a month ago stated Iowa had only sold 40,000 of 75,000 season tickets at that point; not a vote of confidence.

I`m sure as you can attest to, Iowa has some great fans. Unfortunately, we have to deal with those that come here and can only call others names. Consider me unimpressed to date.

How exactly would you describe Ferentz, then? As you love to point out, Iowa's recruiting is typically awful. And yet 5 years ago, Ferentz could have had his pick of any NFL job that he wanted.

BTW, your guy's been on that stage, and he failed MISERABLY.

Let's see. Other college coachs who failed MISERABLY in the NFL. Steve Spurier. Lou Holtz. Nick Saban. Pete Carrol's first stint in the NFL was a bust. Dennis Erickson. The list goes on. Each of these guys has won a National Championship in the college ranks, yet failed at the NFL level. Success at one level does not automatically translate to success at the next level.
