'Likely' as in 8 wins wasn't too difficult with our schedules and with 3 conference wins. Or at least 7 wins. Under previous coaches, 5-3 in the Big Ten was our high watermark...all the way back to 1973. With many bad & very-bad conference records mixed in.

14.5% 8 win seasons in the last 55 years means not likely.

Now maybe you were speaking about B1G teams in general. Maybe a lot of B1G teams went 3-5 in conference and still won 8 games.

Just not minnesota.
