That is about as dumb as could be, there's tons that come from far west, Iowa, and many other states to see Nebraska each game. You talking with no knowledge is fairly hilarious.

population of the state of Nebraska: 1.8 million
population within a 50 mile radius of Lincoln, NE: 1.25 million (this includes a sliver of Iowa as well)
population of Iowa: 3.1 million
population within a 50 mile radius of Iowa City, IA: 0.6 million

the above are facts. The 80% I admit, is pure speculation on my part, but it isn't without knowledge and was based on subjective reasoning.

Knowing that many Nebraska fans sold their tickets weeks ago.

My neighbors kids both go to UNL and said the majority of students won't come back to Lincoln in freezing weather to watch a game that at best allows the team to go 6 - 6. You can pretty well count out the student section.

I also know that hundreds if not thousands of Iowa fans bought tickets from Nebraska fans.

Curious if you think it will be at least 50% Hawks in the stands?
For sure. gbr

Well, it is wrong.

There were more Michigan State fans at the MSU game than I expected, I think that there will be a lot of black and gold there on Friday. Nothing close to 40K, but I wouldn't be surprised to see 10-15K.
Really??? I was at the MSU game with some MSU friends - we sat in the last row of the newest section and could see the whole stadium pretty good. We both commented on how little green/white we saw. Maybe 5 -7,000 at best if I had to guess.

I would guess about the same for Iowa - maybe 10K at best. Doubt it will be even noticeable ...

I was in the west stadium, I rarely see any visitors there except in the south corner. There were many pockets of green people, mostly groups of 2 that may not have been visible from the 600s. There may not have been more than 7000, just saying that there were a lot of tickets sold by NU fans for a premier game. I'm pretty sure the Iowa fans will be noticeable on Friday.
