This is absolutely insane. It's not entitled to expect to go bowling after what we spend on this product. The university, the fans, the collectives, etc. spend an absolute fortune. And speaking of the fans specifically, they have supported the hell out of this thing and been incredibly patient. I hate to use this word, but the fans are OWED much more than this. Yes....owed.
The remedy is to pay for performance. If a starter continually plays like $hit, then it’s time to pull the NIL and pull the Scholarship! Go be a slacker somewhere else!
If we beat Wisconsin or Iowa then we go bowling. So show up, cheer for the team and if we win, we go bowling. Boycotting the team midseason when we can still move forward and go bowling is insane.
You just moved the goal post. You said my last post was insane. Now I need to give you a break based on distance? I commend your commitment to travel. But if the stadium is going to be less than half full (what I originally responded to), people within an hour of the stadium would have to not show up
You said we're entitled to expect, no DEMAND, to go to a bowl game. I said that's not entitled...the program gets any resource it wants, an 8 year bowl drought should have the AD completely cleared out except for John Cook and the ladies.
I never said anything of the sort. I think you misread my post. I said people should show up and support the team as the Wisconsin game is the biggest of the year.
I haven’t yet but have considered if the same garbage results are happening through 2027, it will be a fitting change for me to stop following this $hitshow.

I doubt we beat Wisconsin or Iowa. We are weak in the trenches on both sides of the ball, have no playmakers on offense, and almost certainly low team morale.
I am beyond disappointed. I really thought Rhule was going to turn us around. He still might. But at this point I highly doubt it. He has given us no reason to hope.
At the point I posted that Wisconsin was punishing Oregon. Oregon later on got their run game going and Gabriel made plays with his legs. Wisconsin had a costly turnover too but Oregon struggled against Wisconsin’s defense.

Rhule is who we have. He resurrected two previous football programs from the dead. Baylor was in a serious conference, just had a scandal and he resurrected them. Satterfield was not his first choice, neither was our wide receiver coach, but Mickey screwed up so here we are.
At least MR’s willing to make big changes at inconvenient times, and for the better. Let’s try and hang in there.
What result do you hope to gain by that happening? Matt Rhule getting fired? I doubt anyone with any real pull is going to go for that given his buyout.

Wisconsin was definitely physical in that game and totally made a game of it. But I love to see Wisconsin lose and exhaust themselves lol
Why delay the inevitable? When has that ever worked? I’m fine with keeping MR through his contract for the sake of fiscal responsibility but fans should adjust their expectations and Saturday plans accordingly…it’s pretty obvious he has no plan

Satterfield was a bad hire. Dylan has suffered because of it. We have one undersized Dude at WR. RBs are Ok. OLine is mediocre. Defense is good, but can’t win the game by itself. No northwestern, Rutgers or Maryland on the schedule, and Indiana is a tough out. We are better than we were under frost. That’s what I see.

New Nebraska is going to New Nebraska until more talent shows up. Dudes that may not have all the talent can make up with hard work, want to, playing strong football fundamental football.
