I'm not gonna be as hard on you as others, but what inside of you made you choose "sloth"? Did you also get a giant face tattoo on the day you created your account?
This is absolutely insane. It's not entitled to expect to go bowling after what we spend on this product. The university, the fans, the collectives, etc. spend an absolute fortune. And speaking of the fans specifically, they have supported the hell out of this thing and been incredibly patient. I hate to use this word, but the fans are OWED much more than this. Yes....owed.
The remedy is to pay for performance. If a starter continually plays like $hit, then it’s time to pull the NIL and pull the Scholarship! Go be a slacker somewhere else!
If we beat Wisconsin or Iowa then we go bowling. So show up, cheer for the team and if we win, we go bowling. Boycotting the team midseason when we can still move forward and go bowling is insane.
You just moved the goal post. You said my last post was insane. Now I need to give you a break based on distance? I commend your commitment to travel. But if the stadium is going to be less than half full (what I originally responded to), people within an hour of the stadium would have to not show up
You said we're entitled to expect, no DEMAND, to go to a bowl game. I said that's not entitled...the program gets any resource it wants, an 8 year bowl drought should have the AD completely cleared out except for John Cook and the ladies.
I never said anything of the sort. I think you misread my post. I said people should show up and support the team as the Wisconsin game is the biggest of the year.
I haven’t yet but have considered if the same garbage results are happening through 2027, it will be a fitting change for me to stop following this $hitshow.
My best memories were Osborne choosing to go for 2 in the 1984 Orange Bowl (I was just a kid)
Narrowly losing to Florida State in the 1994 Orange Bowl and the resolve of the 1994 team to finish business throughout the season and against Miami in the 1995 Orange Bowl. I was older and really started following the Huskers regularly from then and up until now.
Oregon won. I hardly call that getting abused by Wisconsin!
I doubt we beat Wisconsin or Iowa. We are weak in the trenches on both sides of the ball, have no playmakers on offense, and almost certainly low team morale.
I am beyond disappointed. I really thought Rhule was going to turn us around. He still might. But at this point I highly doubt it. He has given us no reason to hope.
