So was last yearFrost should be jailed for pissing away the schedule this season. This one was set up for 9 or 10 wins.
Right???Frost should be jailed for pissing away the schedule this season. This one was set up for 9 or 10 wins.
Yep. OU is probably going to end up unranked. No Ohio State. No Penn State. Iowa and Wisconsin down.Right???
The west sucks as it is but it looks ever more badder this year.
This should have been the year where NU started the season ranked top 10...Yep. OU is probably going to end up unranked. No Ohio State. No Penn State. Iowa and Wisconsin down.
And pissed it right down our leg.
Lucky to win 1 so farThis should have been the year where NU started the season ranked top 10...
It is so annoying that they will be lucky to win 3 games.
I'll give you Baylor-Oklahoma State. I'll watch that game. But Kansas-Iowa St. sounds boring even though they are both good teams. Those Big 12 games seem alot more compelling than the B1G games.
I'm going to continue to watch Baylor games just to see what we are getting with Aranda.I'll give you Baylor-Oklahoma State. I'll watch that game. But Kansas-Iowa St. sounds boring even though they are both good teams.
And I'm not a B1G fan, by the way. If my choices on any given Saturday are an SEC game or a B1G game, I almost always choose the SEC game unless it's Ohio State or Michigan vs another big name team.
That's what makes it all the more sad that Nebraska is not even competitive in the division, let alone the conference. NU over here losing to Northwestern and sh!t.
Nebraska is the unwanted outsider because they are a terrible football team, and have been basically since they joined the conference. The B1G was incredibly excited to invite NU and I can remember OSU and Michigan fans - hell, everyone - so happy the Huskers were in the conference. That changed when everyone realized these aren't your father's Cornhuskers.True. But now we have a league full of them and we are the unwanted outsider.
So Urban is a silent commit then?my site just has it permanently listed
currently:
aranda - +110
campbell - +180
leipold - +300
mickey - +330
rhule - +350
o'brien - +450
chadwell - +600
still plenty of others listed at longer odds
The difference between the two is, PJ Fleck has a higher winning percentage.Tom Allen and PJ Fleck are the same = Douche bags.
Last year we played one of the toughest schedules of any Power 5 teamSo was last year
Jags have really excelled without himSo Urban is a silent commit then?
I agree with you on a lot of stuff, but the NFL game is so much different than college. Part of the lure with Urban is he and his staff have always been elite recruiters and good judges of talent. He is a good X's and O's guy and I thought he might be better in the pros because of that, but the relationship part is way different and what he was selling was not working. He's a college guy.Jags have really excelled without him
many here will dismiss that fact as somehow meaningless
If all goes to plan, our quarterbacks will also be millionaires while playing for urban (or whoever) at NUI agree with you on a lot of stuff, but the NFL game is so much different than college. Good call Kong!I'll just give kong some props instead! Didn't see that comin, nice call Kong!
If history tells us anything, this is where Nebraska says “hold my beer, we can show you worse.”I guess they can’t believe we can be as bad as we’ve been.
2 deep depth chart changes are totally underwhelming. If history tells us anything, this is where Nebraska says “hold my beer, we can show you worse.”
The overall talent on defense and OL is totally underwhelming.2 deep depth chart changes are totally underwhelming.
I’d say the level of motivation, football IQ, and resolve is worse than the actual talent here. The overall talent on defense and OL is totally underwhelming.
It's like does their entire team have Covid? How in the actual **** is this correct?Huskers -6.5 now
absolutely hilarious
they stink, manIt's like does their entire team have Covid? How in the actual **** is this correct?
We suck. Sad Face..they stink, man
their weirdo coach kisses their players on the lips
we should win by a lot
Not really. No idea why would be favored. We are a really bad football team.Huskers -6.5 now
absolutely hilarious
Wisc may get surprised by Illinois too! They are not world-beaters, but seem to have a pretty good D.I'm taking ku and Baylor
I think Mickey knows he’s an extremely long shot after that OU blowoutDoes that mean MIckey would bring him in as an assistant?
I highly doubt Mickey is recruiting someone to take his job from him.
Absolutely. I think that was some of the logic of the powers that be dissuading Trev from firing. Frost last winter. Some thought he could get some wins under his belt and get things rolling. I sure thought we could have 7-8 wins in us based on the scheduleFrost should be jailed for pissing away the schedule this season. This one was set up for 9 or 10 wins.
