The 18 ranked Badgers are 15-4 and 5-3 in conference play and have won 7 of their last 8 losing to UCLA on Tuesday night.

Huskers have now lost 5 in a row and it will be a stern test today getting back in the win column..

Success has been found vs Wisconsin in recent games. I think Nebraska plays really well yet drops it by 5-6 today.

They’ve blown out Minnesota and the Clarkeyes and won by two over Bucknuts in their last three home games .

Well, we’re getting that look at Hoiberg starting and leaving both Rollie and Ulis on the bench. Hate to say I told ya so but…

I like it.
I’m sorry, but the fact that we have spent so much time discussing playing time for Sam, and now he is starting, tells you all you need to know about where the Huskers are as a program this year. He would be a garbage time player for every other big 10 team. FH completely failed on the recruiting front in the past 12 months. Wisconsin isn’t guarding Sam. It’s embarrassing.

Face it we don’t have a legit point guard, one of the main reasons why this team is in the shitter..

Hoiberg is a 5 minute a game B1G level player. Just doesn't have the size
Really brings great energy off bench but that is his role. No real PG is the issue - that is on this staff/NIL. They might not win but a couple more games .

John Tonje, 2nd straight game a Nebraska native scorching the Huskers
Sad thing is that he and Saint Thomas weren’t even lured away by blue bloods. They left the state to play at lower mid-major programs.

Look out, below! It appears as though our team is collapsing. If there is such a thing as Mad Marchness…I think we’re ready for that.

I do believe in miracles, though. Who is the patron saint of bad basketball??

He’s ok if you have at least 2 other capable scorers on the floor. He can hit an open kick out 3 when the defense is focused on stopping others and he plays decent defense. (Opponents can shoot over him) But he can’t create a shot to save his life.

What’s fvcking crazy is Fred actually resorted to starting Sam knowing it wasn’t gonna work. Shows we got no answers and now we’re just gonna throw shit against the wall and pray for a miracle. 🫤

Yeah that’s the really bad part. Guys end up playing at UNO or leave the state but they likely never got a look from the Huskers. I’m happy for those kids finding success
