Happy Father’s Day!!

Lost my dad in April, two weeks shy of 91. Was blessed to have him so long. I know many are not as fortunate. Happy Fathers Day, Dad.
You have that right, some are very less fortunate that weren’t able to spend as much quality time as some of us had..

He was born in Minnesota and moved to Nebraska and he met my mother, he became a huge Husker fan when Bob Devaney arrived in Lincoln..

I’ve mentioned many time when he took me to my very first Husker game against Missouri back in 1968 when NU played on real grass.

I’ve been hooked ever since then and remember him having friends over to watch the 1963 NU/Oklahoma game the day after JFK assassination because he could get the game on from Lincoln because he had rabbit ears in the attack..
