By all means. Keep at it. You are truly making a difference. By posting about sex trafficking on a Husker football message board. It's practically the same as personally walking the downtown streets of some big city at night looking for runaway teenage girls.
Look at the thread name. Yes its a Husker board. But the subject is not. If it triggers you that much that people talk about it. Don't read and respond to it. You are coming off as creepy at this point.

Making assumptions about people is a major problem in this country. Funny how if you aren't an extremist for one side than you automatically must be for the other side. People around here remind me of South Park. Pretending to be all worked up about stuff they really don't care about more than the average person.
Somewhat hypocritical, don’t you think? To call out people for making assumptions and then in nearly every post in this thread you have made assumptions about people.

He’s coming off as very creepy and probably has something to hide I’m guessing.
Explain this to me in more detail? Husker123456 may be going off on a tangent, but nothing he is saying makes me feel he is hiding anything. If you are insinuating that he is a closet pedo, I'd like you to direct me to the verbiage that got you there.

All I can see is he is telling people that talking about it on a football board isn't going to do anything about it... and now he is a Pedophile??? Nope not buying it

It’s pretty simple, he wants to suppress awareness on this topic. I wonder why

Does this movie name actual people involved? maybe even as an epilogue to the movie? Would like to have some real names instead of just innuendo and blind items.

No. I basically question how genuine people are in caring about this issue. My feeling is most of the people repeatedly posting about this stuff only really care because it's another reason to hate and stereotype people.

The posting history of a lot of people on this board would suggest they spend every waking hour volunteering for advocacy groups or tracking down missing girls. Which in reality they don't care any more or less than anyone else. They just use it as an opportunity to once again further an agenda on a football message board.
It's funny that it bothers you enough to react the way you are.

Let's say you're right and they're furthering an agenda. It's a random message board. Welcome to the internet, lol!

You're right. We should ignore it, say nothing and draw no attention to it, unless we are personally planning to travel to Columbia and raid a pedophile ring.
People like him are so funny. Unless you're willing to drop everything & make it your life goal to help solve (insert issue), then you shouldn't be passionate about it.

Kind of like the "how kids have you adopted" stupid take when it comes to being pro-life.

Okay. I'm genuinely not sure what your point is?
The police and dad disagreed on whether the guy should be sent back to jail. So the guy wasn't going to jail to get raped as his punishment like you would have preferred. Not coming at you, just pointing that out.

It is a movie tor chrissakes!!!
“Based”on a true story.

It is a movie, not anything close to a documentary.

Kind of like reality television. It convinces some, but is not serious in its attempt at accuracy. This reaction is just way too predictable.

It was made to make $$$. It is “drama”, made to make you think, by wildly embellishing the truth.

My $.02

Oh, the police & dad think he should be let out or jail. Okay, I guess I'll change my belief that pedos should have to spend the rest of their lives in jail.

I really don't care if they get raped in jail or not, they just need to be in the same block as the other really bad guys. Not with the non-voilent criminals.

What the police & dad believe doesn't change what my thoughts are. We can have different opinions.

Is anyone saying it's a documentary?

The point is that a real life guy took down a bunch of real life pedos while saving the lives of a bunch of real life children.

Yes, it was dramatized, but that doesn't take away from the point of the movie.

No. Police didn't think they had enough to warrant sending him back. Dad did.

I just think beating him with a moose antler is better then sending him back to where he obviously didn't mind being or he would have just stayed away from the family in the first place.

So you say.

Always consider the source I say.

The point of the movie was to make $$$ by dramatising rare, but tragic occurrences, then plying the heartstrings of people in a way to make more $$$

Reality TV.

Gotcha. Even though I have a preference doesn’t mean I'm not okay with what actually ended up happening.

No. More like people who constantly talk politics but don't vote. Irritates the shit out of me. If someone is that passionate then vote.

The dude that the movie was based on is actually doing something about this horrible crime.

I posted the link to his website.

Which part is fake.

Pedos being arrested with the help of Tim Ballard? Kids being saved from pedos with the help of Tim Ballard? Or both?

He did dramatise it, and is being paid well.
Parts are true, but it is still a movie.

He and his links to Q make him as believable as Alex Jones and infowars views on school shootings.

This was made to enrich those that made this movie, and really nothing more.

Your .02 cents don’t make any sense.

No shit.

Like you also said, parts of it is true. That's what people are focusing on, but for some reason you're focusing on the dramatized parts and making an argument that no one else is making.
Many are making an argument about this.

The lead claims to have been CIA.

Many past members of CIA actively promote their past excellence.
This guy does not allow it.

Great story, woefully short of truth.
Like Hollywood is.

Were you there? How do you know what is true or not true?

The lead? As in the actor?

I meant the man that the story is based on, not the “lead”, my mistake.

I absolutely was not there.

Does my lack of presence preclude my opinion that this is a greatly embellished movie?
