Fyfe most likely going to start today in his last home game as a senior. I am predicting he will have a great game today and silence his critics. Go get 'em Ryker!
Wouldn't it be funny if he gets the start and the offense actually looks great and say they score 42+ on Maryland. I wonder if people will want him or Tommy to start vs Iowa.Fyfe most likely going to start today in his last home game as a senior. Lol. Yes. There would be some wishing for that. But Tommy is our guy. Love that kid.Wouldn't it be funny if he gets the start and the offense actually looks great and say they score 42+ on Maryland. I wonder if people will want him or Tommy to start vs Iowa.
As General Maximus would say, "Hold the Line."If the line protects Fyfe and opens holes for the running game, then I think Fyfe will have a good game passing the ball. But if we can't run the ball and the line allows pressure in passing situations we will be hurting without Tommy's legs.
But I think the line comes together today in the last home game and knowing that they have to take charge.
I am optimistic

Do you have that movie line and character confused with Gibson in The Patriot? I don't remember that line in Gladiator, perhaps my memory sucks. Great movie though, BTW.
I think they will try to run, but it hasn't been working for awhile, so my guess is, it gets abandoned pretty quickly if we have no success, and we end up throwing it a lot today.Im sure it will be back to the ole, run up the gut twice and play 500 on 3rd.
Soooo you have any numbers you like for to pick for the lottery oh great omniscient one.Fyfe most likely going to start today in his last home game as a senior. I am predicting he will have a great game today and silence his critics. Go get 'em Ryker!
Ha. I wish. I never win the stupid lottery. Not even those dumb ass scratch cardsSoooo you have any numbers you like for to pick for the lottery oh great omniscient one.
I agree. But after our last score in the third quarter I thought Fyfe's passing got more erratic. So for everyone begging to run run run, you may note the Huskers best half was when they passed 20 times and completed 14 (I believe) when putting up 21 points. Not claiming they should have kept that up in the second half, but the reality is that this team can't simply pound the rock to victory. They need the passing game and Fyfe did a nice job.
Maryland consistently brought more pressure and our line didn't respondI agree. But after our last score in the third quarter I thought Fyfe's passing got more erratic.

Doesn't something similar happen when they do like a war reenactment in the coliseum and he is trying to convince the other slaves to work together? I'm going to have to watch that again, great film.First battle of the movie when he's ridding on his horse with his men he is heard yelling that over and over. watched it last night
Yes he did. I was happy for him today. What a great way for a senior walk on from Nebraska to end his career. A backup his entire career but never grumbled. Good for himHe made good decisions for the most part.
