Frost has met and spoken with parents, obviously, both in person and over the phone, but there was another large meeting over the internet attended by most parents.
You all saw the letter parents put out, and most parents on the team are very happy SF is their coach and a vast majority of parents want their kids to have a season. I believe parents really are impressed with SF and like that he spoke up nationally. Parents are also concerned about player eligibility in future years and no one knows yet.
I dont know that it will matter, but the big ten is certainly getting more heat than support. But its easy for them to block it out and surround themselves with like-minded academia. They arent politicians.
Also, as a side note, as I suspected the whole “big ten united” player demands stuff was not some grassroots thing approved by most players. Most never heard of it when it came out. The pushback from players for cancellation is real, however.
