Clearly constructed as clickbait to keep you hanging on until the end. Such a long tease before finally revealing the "goods". And none of it seems too shocking to me. Florida State isn't the only school with those practices and if they're paying high school kids without any kind of signed contract in place those kids can easily collect the money and then go elsewhere. Doesn't seem that smart to me on the part of the school - dumb money. You wonder how many of those kids will be hitting the transfer portal.
