Sent him a message of support and mentioned that really believe that Scott Frost would make a great coach at Nebraska. Just in case anybody else wants to do the same, think it’s a good idea to let him hear from the fans and alumni.

I emailed him saying Saban seems like a decent coach. You're welcome!

Yes. He mentioned how he’s been touring around the state listening to fans opinions on what’s playing out with Nebraska football, he knows.

What was the deal with them two? Feels like everybody knows but never dares to mention what they did. Can someone share some light?
They both liked candy. Carl liked the nose variety and other people's wives. Marvin's issues were legal and very embarrassing for him. I've never seen them published anywhere. Somebody tried to post a link after it happened but it disappeared quickly from the board. I guess you can Google it if you know what to look for but I'll just say that it appears he was caught in a prostitution sting in California while he was coaching at USC or Loyola High School after he left NU. There were other issues that Marvin brought to the table that I've heard about but that's second hand so I'm not repeating them.

Why does the guy always get blamed when it's someone else wife?

We exchanged pumpkin pie recipes and I mentioned that he should visit the forums and see that MR deserved another year :p

I emailed Moos a bunch of nude pics to help him combat revenge porn. Oh crap, I just realized it was Facebook that wanted those. Ugh...

I think I'll email him and tell him I don't want Frost at Nebraska. I might also inform him if he couldn't already tell from the thousands of Frost emails he gets that our fan base is loony.

Thanks for the post, and I appreciate that we all want to be involved and to help get this Coaching situation completed.

But, let's leave Mr. Moos alone. He does not need 6,000 emails to deal with. And one's that he is most likely not going to read anyway. Someone else on this staff will have to deal with them.

He has enough to do, and he has been out and about with the Nebraska Fan Base. He already knows where the Nebraska Fan Base stands. Do you remember how he raddled off Scott Frost's resume' recently in the interview? He has studied Scott very thoroughly.

As an AD, he also knows what he is doing. And How to Do It. He is doing the appropriate due diligence on the search. Let's let him do his job! It's tough enough.

JMO. And that is worth no more than yours. ;)

True, but email seems like a very non invasive way to communicate. And who knows what all he's hearing? When I read threads mentioning Beilima and the NDSU coach as prospects I get nervous.

Emailing Moos only means his secretary has to delete a bunch of messages from her Inbox.

I can just see someone sitting in a cubicle clicking boxes and hitting delete all day long. Eventually standing up and screaming, "F this job, it sucks! No matter how many of these emails I delete, they just keep comming!"

Good thing it's not your call then. It's clear you are too close-minded to handle the situation

I sent him one. I asked him if his last name ever ended with an "e" back in the day. Seems like it should, and someone just started leaving it off somewhere along the line.

I'll let you know what he says.

I do appreciate your thoughts here.

IMO, Mr. Moos knows his job, and if you listen to his interviews, it is very clear that he is listening to the Fan Base at different functions in Omaha, Lincoln and from other spots in the State.

He also is listening to the people he reports to. He knows about Scott Frost and that there are many people that want him. However there are many that want Mr. Moos to hire the best candidate for the job, which may not be Scott Frost.

He needs to do his job, and I believe he is doing that. Regardless of what the emails would say.

BTW, have you ever tried to read and delete 6,000 emails. It takes a while. I get 200 or so a day, and it is a real time zapper.

JMO, but Mr. Moos knows what he is called to do at Nebraska, he knows what is expected of him, he knows where he wants to go, and knows how to get there.

I plan too leave him alone so he can invest his time focused on actually getting there.

You got something you want to tell us?

LOL it's just a question. Like the woman is some how innocent in it. She was wooed and being the delicate flower she was she couldn't be expected to control her lustful emotions. Mean while it's the man's fault.
