Yes, minus the current special teams coach. Satt is informed that if his offense isn't in top 50 next year, he's out also.
If it doesn’t end in the top 50 this year he should be gone. There’s no excuse for what we saw against Indians from a Million dollar OC.

Good lord. I know this crap won't stop and happens at every major college, but it still baffles me.

There are people who expected 5-7 wins before the season and would still be upset if we end up with 8 wins by the end of the year.

At least wait until the end of the season to do this crap... even though that is too soon in a rebuild.
I’ve defended Satterfield somewhat. That ended Saturday. That’s the worst game I’ve ever seen an OC call. Ever.

I already think Foley is gone unless we see a miraculous turn around.
For one, despite my criticism of Rhule there is no way we don't give this man about 5 years to see if the ship can be righted. I don't think he will, but he hasn't done anything termination/buyout worthy to rise to that level.

However, IF he doesn't make the obvious coaching changes at the end of the year, he is gonna get on many of the fans' hot seat real quick with each loss next year. I like Matt, but I think he talks a good vision of the future, only in words but not being put into action.

If he decides to make only one move and jettison Foley and keep the others, I reserve the right to call for his ouster after year 3 if we haven't shown obvious improvement. We would then be entering near the 3rd straight decade of irrelevance, and that should never be acceptable with all the money that has been shoveled out for facilities, salaries, etc.

Rhule spent most of 1 1/2 years using the term "elite" as a word only, certainly nothing has been "elite". Either he makes a commitment to being a physical team, a team that can run the ball, or he needs to quit talking about it.

I'm not sure whether I care if Rhule returns next year. He's a different version of Mike Riley but about the same. Of course Riley had a better record than Rhule after 109 games.

ONLY with changes. Im losing hope for this year, especially as things are trending.

I will probably become an NFL only guy in the near future. The college game is whack. Plus, I don’t get emotionally involved with NFL games. Huskers just wrecked me for at least 24 hours afterward. I’m not even happy when they win.

What’s the point? He’s not going anywhere and it’s foolish to cycle through head coaches. I’ve somewhat defended Satt in the past but his game plans and play calling with a freshman QB is questionable at best.
Agreed. No point to even talking about this right now. He isn’t going anywhere. He desperately needs that 6th win and a bowl invite to show that some progress is being made.

Raiola is a good Freshman QB. But he is not a freshman phenom. I actually think AMart was more explosive as a true freshman than Raiola has been. So Rhule needs to bring in an OC who can really scheme intelligently around Raiola’s skill set. He also needs to fire Foley and add in another offensive line coach who specializes in run blocking schemes. He also needs to hit the portal hard for better skill position players.

No easy fix. But firing Rhule is not the answer.

It’s really hard for me to see Matt Rhule being the guy to turn our program around after yesterday.

I’ve seen some really embarrassing losses by our program but yesterday takes the cake. If yesterday was against a team with a $25M NIL roster then I could kind of understand yesterday, but it wasn’t. I’m not convinced Indiana is a juggernaut, they have played nobody, including Nebraska
How much NIL on a roster is not going to always be a reliable metric. Indiana clearly has a bunch of unheralded players and their “whole” is greater than the sum of its parts. Indiana is the opposite of what Mebraska has been over the last 10 years.
