It is doubtful that IF there is to be an MRI and most likely there is one that it would be put off for a couple of days! They would want the answer as soon as possible and that would mean getting the MRI done last night or today!

Actually, they usually do wait a couple of days before doing an MRI. I think the swelling needs to be brought down becase it can distort the image?

Obviously that is the other option they’ll have to contemplate but knowing SF if he has a shot at being Bowl eligible he’ll want 2AM starting.

Actually a torn MCL could be as little as a week and grade 2 tear would be 2-4 weeks. Some people have played thru them but do not think a Qb could!

I have no idea what the extent of AM's injury is, but just because he is waking on it doesn't mean that it's not an ACL/MCL injury. I've known plenty of people walking on a torn ACL the next day, with a limp.

I heard ACL and a look for a second opinion first.....then I heard MCL sprain from two other people later on. I hope the last two are correct.
