I haven't used StubHub for years and wonder if someone can explain how Electronic or Instant Download works for Husker tickets. When I sold tickets on StubHub years ago, I mailed the physical tickets to the buyer. If I use Electronic or Instant Download, how are the tickets verified when I appear at the Memorial Stadium gate? Isn't possible someone will have the original paper ticket and present it? Or are the original paper tickets in StubHub's possession?

I have bought and sold Husker tickets on StubHub. They do not collect the paper tickets from sellers, but I believe that only the original season ticket holder can sell them electronically, so it wouldn't be hard to find the evil-doer if they used the paper ticket. It may also be the case that, if you go through the StubHub link on Huskers.com, they can cancel the code on the paper ticket. As a purchaser you just print off the ticket and present it at the gate, I've never had any problems with their system.

Not sure of the details. I used StubHub and downloaded the Instant Download ticket and printed it out. Scanned fine at the gate.

Yeah they give you a new barcode, I've sold through StubHub a few times and they warn you multiple times as soon as they're sold your tickets won't scan anymore. Never had a problem buying or selling with StubHub.

I used StubHub a few months ago to purchase basketball tickets in OKC. I purchased the tickets a couple of weeks in advance of the game and StubHub notified me that tickets would be available to download and print a couple of days before the game. A couple of days before the game came and still no tickets. I sent StubHub a message and they said give it another day. Another day came and nothing. I called StubHub the morning of the game and they said that the owner of the tickets had until 2 hours before the game started to upload the tickets. I waited until 3 hours before the start and called StubHub back and after explaining that it took me almost 3 hours to drive and get parked at the venue, they argued and said that I should find a Kinko to print at the last second. After a pretty convincing argument on my part, they finally agreed to cancel my tickets. I immediately booked with Ticketmaster and made it on time to watch the Thunder blow a lead late.

What he said. The bar code changes once they're sold and the original tickets become voided.

Aren't you glad that you went? :p Sounds like a problem with the seller. Once you bought the tickets they should have been available for download within short time. Boo for StubHub for not doing the right thing. I use them frequently and haven't had a problem (so far).

I loved the game until the Thunder blew another late lead to Houston...I just don't know how the seller can sell tickets through StubHub without providing the tickets first. I have since learned to never purchase tickets that state "electronic delivery" and instead ensure that "instant download" is listed.
