Both the Omaha & Lincoln Airport is

Charlotte’s airport is one of my favorites. 5 separate gates, with everything connected, allowing you to go through any one of the 5 gates. You aren’t stuck with completely separate A and B sides (or in their case A,B,C,D,E).

I have heard other people say Charlotte is great. I think it was just that one or more of their gates has been under “renovation” for over 4 or 5 years now, and it looks like a tornado dumpster fire: half the drop ceiling removed, can lights, exposed electrical and data wiring, etc dropping from the ceiling. It’s just a shitty looking mess.

It was like that 4 years ago and a friend recently texted me a photo of it being the same way still. I don’t recall the gate #

cant imagine a better area for eppley to be in the omaha area. easy to get to, close to downtown without being too close. never used eppley as a connection so ive never had to sit there longer than an hour. just dont understand why op keeps saying its a bad area..

Doesn't like water? Airports aren't generally right next to luxury homes. I agree, its in a good place. Close to downtown, not much residential, etc.

People who live outside Omaha (especially Lincoln) wish the airport was on the west side of Omaha, so they wouldn't have to drive all the way through Omaha to get there.

I'm not a spokesman for the Omaha C.O.C. or airport authority but I just haven't had this wrought airport experience there. But then I don't go Christmas shopping or look for upscale, gourmet meals at the airport.
When you walk in the front, check your bags at the kiosk, drop them off at the counter, then go upstairs, go through security and wait for your plane. Easy. Then you're off.
It's not big city but it's short, quick, and clean. I am pretty no frills myself. If you want your tax dollars extracted to build some bloated but shiny piece of garbage I'd wished you'd leave my wallet out of it.

I'll try to make sure the neighborhood kids stay off your lawn, also.

Pretty shitty. Nebraska missing big on having a nice airport. Omaha airport is so dumpy.
Couple things I do not like about Nebraska.
The Airport and roads.
Nebraska is way behind here!!

Asking again. What is it you people want?
I dropped someone off at the airport yesterday. There was no violence, no delays, I didn't half to wade in a swamp. But they do have airplanes that take you up to the wild blue yonder. I could have had a 12 dollar hamburger but thought better of it.
Airports should focus on the purpose of airports and not worry about a metrosexual's taste in coffee. I would say the small Omaha airport does just that.
Same reason I like Grand Island's airport. They know their purpose.
