Except Iowa is a power 5 team.
K-State is power 5.

Was a power 5 team. Now part of “others”
Power 4 technically now that the PAC 12 is now the PAC 2. Until the B1G and the SEC decide to break away, it will be the Power 4 since the ACC and Big 12 still have playoff access.

In 1987 or 88, Wyoming went something like 12-1 with Randy Welniak. Beat a lot of teams badly

2001 Miami

Although they came out of a better conference (Big East) than the B1G at the time, so I’m not sure how you’re classifying “Power 5” historically

The Big East was among the power conferences back in 2001 (P6). After collapse of the Big East then it was the Power 5. Now with the recent collapse of the PAC 12, it's now the P4.

I remember watching the 2001 Fresno State team and those dudes were a bunch of bad asses. Don't know they crack the list, but they had a ton of big wins that year.
Yeah 2001 Fresno State deserves to be on the list. Fresno State has had some great teams over the years. Their 2005 game against USC was one of the best, it's a shame they fell short of pulling an upset. They fell apart after that game.

2020 and 2021 Coastal Carolina were some pretty darn good teams. 2023 Liberty was also really good (though they got steamrolled against Oregon (most teams not named Washington did).

2018 Army was pretty good. However they had a couple of losses on their record. I remember they put up 70 points on Houston in a bowl game and Houston fired their coach following the game.

In all honesty i think the 2020 Liberty team was better than the 2023 team. In 2020, Liberty went 2-1 vs the ACC, losing to NC State by only 1 point. I believe they also beat Coastal Carolina in a bowl game that year.
