One thing that frustrates me to no end is how this team consistently bunts straight back to the pitcher. Bunting as a whole isn’t easy but the one part completely within the batters control is the right-to-left angle of the ball off the bat. Grrr.

I’m impressed with the mentality of this team. They got rolled by Oregon State and came back to beat Texas Tech and W/C/S beat Sam Houston.
They lose two heartbreakers In Minneapolis, bus back in the wee hours and then get on another bus to the Little Apple. What to they do? Jump all over KSU and win by a touchdown.
Baseball is The Great Game Of Failure and these guys seem to thrive on coming back from it.

Agreed. I said earlier in the year that is one thing I noticed. They me be too young to even notice. Playing like you have nothing to lose is a good feeling though.

That will happen in baseball but what I watched was a very poor team offensively, defensively, and on the mound.
Now if only all legacies can have kids down south and have them go to Lincoln despite being drafted, we’d be in business!
