Your take is dumb as hell.So what in those stats (you didn’t include rushing) doesn’t favor AM? There are 22 players on a team. This years team went to a bowl game more from T Rob and Nash’s efforts than the QB. That’s my take.

Willing to bet you can find clips of every quarterback in CFB looking bad at times. He had a very good year but he looked downright awful at times
I’ll agree not all of it was on him (OC, line, WRs) but I just don’t see a great QB right now
The 2 slides in the 4q yesterday were really dumb
1 late just asking for an injury
1 early when we need a first down to ice the game
I will say that this was the first season in a long time that 3rd and long didn’t seem like an impossible task.
Your take is dumb as hell.
Corey Schlesinger also blocked for Barry SandersDR15's DAD didn't like the call against his own son?! That's cold. Why wasn't Dominic at the Pinstripe Bowl in person?
***Their careers never overlaped, well I'll be.***
We wouldn't have gone to a bowl this year with turnover machine Amart as qb. History has proven that.Really you think Dylan Raiola is why we are going bowling over those 2
You are an idiot.
That doesn’t make it a bad call. The refs called it as the rule is written. Change the rule I don’t care but in regards to yesterday it was the correct ca
Not DR’s dad. A starter for the Lions from Lincoln Northeast. He didn’t play at Nebraska.DR15's DAD didn't like the call against his own son?! That's cold. Why wasn't Dominic at the Pinstripe Bowl in person?

Don't let these ***ckers get you down, Mr. Kong.I am very impressed by DR's physical talent
I’m fine with the baby fat. It’s more about not fearing getting hit. He’s a big kid. He could deliver hits on DBs.Sure thing he has some baby fat to drop and replace with muscle, but knowing when to pull the ball and snag QB run yardage is either instinctual or a honed skill. As the RB run game improves in the overall, QB run opportunities will increase.
He’s separating personal statistical performance from team results. There is a difference. I liked Martinez’s mobility but my eyes tells me his accuracy was poor and he made too many bad decisions. His run threat most definitely helped helped our receivers get open. They’re just completely different players in different offenses. It’s kind of tough with all the variables to think that stats are an accurate way to rank them IMO.So are you saying that Martinez didn't cost Nebraska any games his freshman year, that he was only able to get 4 wins, while Raiola costing his team multiple games was still able to lead them to a bowl game and 7 wins? That is your argument for Martinez having the better season?
Time will tell.......maybe it's the offensive line or lack of? Could be he is a freshman, on the other hand maybe he is just not clutch and good under pressure.I seem to remember a LOT more emotional fvckbags in the middle of the season declaring him a loser, a bust , don’t care if he leaves, etc.
They seem to be absent here. He had a pretty good freshman year and has a VERY high ceiling. Some of us knew he just needed to throw short more often and Dana absolutely came in and made that happen.
He’s obviously the guy and will set more records here
He did attend 3 or 4 high schools.....benefits a successful dad. Nothing wrong with that i had one also..Assuming no injuries, after the 2025 season Raiola will be 4th on the all time Nebraska passing list and finish as the all time passing yardage leader after 3 years. He will have 3 of the top 6 seasons in passing yards for a season, and will be in the top 3 passing TDs after 3 years. IF he stays for 4 years will hold all the records and it won't be close, but I don't think he will stay for the 4th year.
This was huge in games and he still fvcking lost to mother fvcking ass fvcks IowaDR had a much better defense to be able to lean back on and pull out wins.
Adrian had the much better freshman season. That's not hating on Dylan, it's a simple fact. Luckily Dylan had a much better defense that could lead to a bowl game and a winning season.I agree. But AM had less interceptions as a frosh than DR. AM seemed to regress as the years went by but over 600 yards rushing and 8TDs on the ground. DR couldn’t rush for that many yards if he ran it every single play.
DR will be a high draft choice when he leaves. AM wasn’t (either were Gill, Frazier or Crouch) but I’m just pointing out one thing and one thing only - AM had a better Frosh season than DR. People love to hate on AM - but in his freshman year - he was damn good. Top 5-7 Heisman prospect heading into his Sophomore season. But as I said - he regressed for whatever reason.
No, he regressed because he had no direction under Frost, just like most of the players during that era.He regressed because his body was increasingly beat to shit because of the physical abuse that comes with being a high use dual threat QB. He could have used an EJ and a Dowdell. Coincidentally, the back that will probably carry the groceries for the next couple of years was recruited by Ron Brown in the short time he coached after Held was cashiered.
This board has very low football IQ. Just cheerleaders who can't accept critical thinking. It was a bad call IMO. Defender started the tackling process and Dylan slid. There was absolutely nothing the defender could do to avoid what happened next. My eyes are fine as is my football IQ.
You are also not taking into account the 6 lost fumbles and however many other fumbles that Nebraska recovered. You don't get to count the 600 yards and not count the negatives that went along with it.No. I ask them “Do you know I post on a board with a man that goes by the alias of Tuco Salamanca?” That usually gets me out of trouble.
Hey - how about that comparison of Humm and Tagge vs Frazier’s passing #s? You gonna look it up or do you want me to? You compared rushing but not passing. I compared both with AM and DR freshman numbers. Looking for an Apples to apples comparison.
Our coaching staff thought it was a good idea to put 100% of this year’s offensive success squarely on his shouldersDR is obviously super talented and was a major upgrade this year. Still has a ways to go but I think people need to realize he is a freshman playing D1 football. If he was in year 2 or 3 I would be more critical. He had some bad games and moments but thats to be expected. We should see major improvements next season.
what was the run/pass ratio this year, and what do you think it should have been to make it not incredibly stupid? Or are you just saying, the running plays they ran were stupid because they didnt work? Our coaching staff thought it was a good idea to put 100% of this year’s offensive success squarely on his shoulders
If we decide to give him just a little bit of help with any semblance of a running game those bad moments become much fewer and farther between
I’m still astonished by how incredibly stupid our approach to this season offensively was
We had zero run scheme for the first 9 games of the year.what was the run/pass ratio this year, and what do you think it should have been to make it not incredibly stupid? Or are you just saying, the running plays they ran were stupid because they didnt work?
The numbers probably show us to be right about 50/50what was the run/pass ratio this year, and what do you think it should have been to make it not incredibly stupid? Or are you just saying, the running plays they ran were stupid because they didnt work?

Stats say 448 rushing and 435 passing. Literally right about 50/50.The numbers probably show us to be right about 50/50

Zero.
Run/pass ratio for the season was 50/50. Needs to be 55/45 in favor of the run at minimum going forward (was better with DH) and the closer we can get to 60% runs the better.
yep.Stats say 448 rushing and 435 passing. Literally right about 50/50.
Yes and it starts with playing your best rb.. which we will do all season next yearOur coaching staff thought it was a good idea to put 100% of this year’s offensive success squarely on his shoulders

The entire reason we had a 'good' running game last year was because of HH and the QB run game. Without a mobile QB, that kind of goes out the window with average talent at RB and OL, and below average outside blocking. The running game is a numbers game, and a QB run threat gives you an extra guy to exploit the front 7 of the defense. Our coaching staff thought it was a good idea to put 100% of this year’s offensive success squarely on his shoulders

I throw the USC game out since Dana was one week on the jobI think in some cases, perception is reality. The play calling and the results were basically the same under Holgersen as it was with Satterfield. I think the difference was that the flow was better and there seemed to be an actual game plan. So that gave the perception that it was different. I do believe that Holgersen will take it to another level in 2025.
USC - Plays 63 - Runs 25 - Passes 38 - 40/60
Wisconsin Plays 74 - Runs 36 - Passes 38 - 49/51
Iowa Plays 76 - Runs 43 - Passes 33 - 57/43
BC (BCU for oldman) Plays 64 - Runs 32 - Passes 32 - 50/50
Totals - Plays 277 - Runs 136 - Passes 141 - 49/51
Ok. But even with those numbers thrown out, only the iowa game, a loss, did Holgersen run more than throw. In the two wins it was 50/50. I believe the run game will be more aggressive or with a different attitude than what Satterfield called. The OLine was on its heals under SattI throw the USC game out since Dana was one week on the job
there was a concerted effort to get the ball out of DR's hands the last 3 games - as there should have been for the entirety of the season

Settling for a true freshman starting QB was the major mistake in the first place. So which true freshman QB by name do you like better?
