Anyone know if Nebraska is searching for a center in the portal or do the huskers have their guy already? Going to be tough to replace Scott.. not saying he was Superman, but he was pretty darn good!

Sledge is probably the guy. Plenty of talent and ability just very few snaps so far.
Sledge is going to be good but Jenkins can also play there did when Scott was out with injury. If Corcoran comes back i think he plays guard also ( natural position) they need at least one OT in the portal.
The need for one quality OT from the portal is crucial.
Corcoran’s hamstring injury was severe. Completely torn and not just severely pulled. I spoke to people at The Brazen Tavern who are close to him. His rehab is going to take a while and his hamstring is always going to be prone to reinjury. It would be great to have him back, but it is going to be difficult.
No way I would bet on that. Especially considering his history of injury. Plus if we are being honest for the most part his play has been subpar. All that being said I hope they go out and get someone they deem better. Then if he comes back he comes back but no way can you bet the season on TC. Would make absolutely no sense whatsoever. That would be my first sign that we are in trouble.

I think Jenkins body is much better for Center. Lower center of gravity and can move. Hopefully our young guys aren't so stiff.
Scott is replaceable. Justin Evans and Sam Sledge both should get looks at center. I'm hopeful that our center play improves. I bet we're better at left tackle than we've been in years with Gottula going into year two . There's a slew of returners and good prospects for the guard spots. The only question mark on the offensive line is right tackle.
