70 team super league ...

not sure i understand what you're talking about. uofa v. clemson - had that happened - would be part of the dysfunction in college sports we are talking about today. it makes no sense, does it, like ucla v. rutgers?

further to that point, dysfunction brings opportunity. thus, this rudy proposal happens.
Do you just play dumb when someone calls you out for being a gasbagging hypocrite? Or are you really that dense?

If you are so concerned about student-athlete travel, why didn't you blast your hero Brett Yormark for his (now failed) rumor-mongering campaign designed to add UConn to the Big 12?

So you don’t know. I didn’t read the proposal fully. I figured you had.
not many proposals have the terms never or ever. at least the ones i have been party to all have had an out clause. in football at clemson and fsu we hear the term "exit fees." one would presume the same for a new configuration like this rudy proposal. that would be part of contract language which is way down the road.

I would also assume there might be some performance review to allow dead weight to be flushed if they're not meeting minimum requirements 🤔

Shut this thread down, Big Ten and SEC commissioners have denounced the super leagues as well as private equity and giving control to those investors.

Why is it so hard to use Google these days?

Thanks. Because I was reading on here and sometimes things are true and sometimes sarcasm.

They said GTFO. Shocking. Everyone but the KSU goofball knew that would happen. And then they had a big meeting to discuss scheduling more games between the two conferences. Lol. I guess the Big 10 and SEC are properly valued after all.
I find the B1G bashing on this board (and ITT) to be humorous. They're like, so you want to force us to leave early? They are flexing for sure.

But in a less-reported story, the 70-team super league was unanimously embraced by the Greater Manhattan Society of Self-Important Gasbags, which approved it on a vote of 1-0.

I find the conference elitism from so-called college football fans to be humorous:

Sankey said the perception that the SEC and Big Ten are pulling away from everyone else in college athletics is inaccurate.

“…we recognize we're part of a bigger ecosystem.”

I wonder how he is absorbing the news out of the SEC/big ten meeting. Most likely in denial.

imagine bp and chevron ceo's setting down at the local holiday inn divving up markets, restricting competition, and setting prices? these two despots, sankey and his b10 lackey, are colluding, fixing their market, protecting their fiefdoms. in what american industry is this allowed to happened where two major players can openly collude for the purpose of restricting competition within their marketplace? lawsuits surely blooming over all this given what we have seen from the courts on nil competition.
