Not Chiefs related so I hope you'll forgive me....

Sportsgrid 10 college teams who improved the most thru the transfer portal

7. Nebraska Cornhuskers
Matt Rhule’s Nebraska team broke a long bowl drought but lost many players to the portal. It is debatable how many of those players were ones Nebraska wanted to keep, and the staff got to work on upgrading the roster with incoming additions. The receiving room was upgraded as Dane Key and Nyziah Hunter signed on with Big Red. Those two, plus the returning Isaiah Neyor, give Nebraska a chance to surround quarterback Dylan Raiola with real weapons. Former five-star edge rusher Williams Nwaneri was a good get, and Dasan McCullough is a bet on his upside.

Lettuce Discuss the Fighting Freds (Nebrasketball)

Honestly, I know many were on the "Fire Fred train" at one point (and that's ok) but he's definitely made this team respectable and that's something we haven't seen for a while (Miles came pretty close).

The only thing that has me nervous is that dang @MSU game. Every other game has been good. Hopefully that was just an off night and the boys keep rolling.

@Iowa tonight is a big one. We need to pick up a couple on the road this year (not an easy thing to do)

Costa Rica experience recs

Headed to Costa Rica in March for our honeymoon trip. We’ll be flying into Liberia and spending our time in La Fortuna and Tamarindo.

Staying at Nayara Springs for four nights then four at Cala Luna in Tamarindo. We’re doing one night at Suitree on the way back to the airport.

What are some must do/must see experiences while we are there? Food/tours/destinations, etc.

We aren’t wanting to put too many miles on in this trip; we spent 10 days in Iceland in September and drove ~4500 km on the ring road. But we still want to do some memorable things while there. Definitely hiking around Arenal and doing the hanging bridges. Considering a day trip to Nicaragua from Tamarindo.

Mostly looking forward to the coffee and sects. Other recommendations greatly appreciated.

How would you change the college football playoffs?

I'd go to a 4 team all automatic qualifier system.

B1G goes to 3 6 team divisions, 3 division winners and next best do a 4 team playoff to determine champion, champion gets automatic spot.

SEC does something similar, maybe 2 8 team divisions, or 4 4 team pods, 4 team playoff with champion getting automatic spot.

ACC and Big 12 have title games then the two conference champions play a game for 3rd spot.

After G5 title game, they do a 4 team tournament with their top 4 rated champions for the 4th spot.

Seed the four teams and have the national semifinals on New Years Day and the title game on the following Saturday.
