Britt Prince ...any chance she ends up in Lincoln?

So I see Elkhorn North (Prince) won its 3rd straight state championship today. I also see Britt is ranked as the 10th player in the nation for her class. This has to be the highest ranked girls basketball player the state has ever produced. I know a few coaches and teachers in the area and none think she will stay in state. Anyone know any more about her recruitment other than its a long shot? Would be a huge boost for a program like Nebraska to get a talent like her. Hell, hire her mother as an assistant if that helps!

I exchanged a few texts with the playmaker who has seen his recruitment blow up recently to get his thoughts on the visit.

"It was great, finally got to talk to Coach McGuire in person and played some videos games," McMorris said. The vibes was great today. I really loved the visit."

As a junior, McMorris has 90 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns. He and McGuire discussed the fit that Nebraska sees for him in the offense. McMorris liked what he heard.

"He was talking slot that can move all across the field," McMorris said. "He thinks with my skill set I could have an opportunity of playing early."

This visit was very good for the wideout and he said his relationship with McGuire is very good. McMorris did tell me that he will be back on campus for the big Junior Day on March 25.

In what is likely Nebraskas WORST year in history….

In what was likely Nebraska’s worst year in combined football and basketball,

In a year where our football team was so bad we fired a coach mid season and hit a program low, the absolute bottom,

And a year where our basketball team was riddled by injuries and barely .500 with some horrible losses,

Nebraska still swept Iowa, in both, and both on Iowas senior day.

Just a reminder for you Iowa creepos who lurk this board.

Iowa will alway be Nebraska’s little brother.

Basketball Final: Nebraska 81, Iowa 77

Nebraska (15-15, 8-11) is at Iowa (19-11, 11-8) today. Tipoff is slated for 1:06 p.m.-ish. The game will be televised on BTN with Kevin Kugler and Robbie Hummel on the call.

Iowa City has been a house of horrors for Nebraska. Prior to Sunday’s tilt the Huskers have only one win in Iowa City once since 1941, and it came in 2012. In the three losses in Carver-Hawkeye Arena under Fred Hoiberg, Nebraska’s average margin of defeat is 28.3 points. Iowa whooped Nebraska 96-72 in 2020, 102-64 in 2021 and 98-75 last season.

Here's a bit of pregame reading. Interesting 3-point numbers from the Hawkeyes the past two games:
