I think we need to be a little more realistic. I think either team can win this game but we need to play within ourselves.

If we try to be to fancy this game can get away from us in a hurry.

I knew subprime would completely fvck up the culture of whatever institution was stupid enough to hire him, but this paragraph blew me away.

Is Tony White, but a really close second is Corey Campbell. Watching Chasing 3 episodes - he's the S&C coach that Nebraska's been missing for the last 20 years or so. Also love how he's out in front during the Tunnel Walks - dude just looks like he's ready to rip someone's face off. Never afraid to admit when I'm wrong - since I've been posting here since 2007, it happens a lot! Was dead wrong on Rhule. Nebraska's got the right coach and he's brought the right people along with him.

Login to view embedded media Caught up with a few people in the know on 2025 San Antonio (Tex.) Alamo Heights four-star wide receiver Michael Terry's recruitment. After his weekend trip to Lincoln, Nebraska has pulled even with Texas and officially overtaken Oregon, though things were trending that way heading into the weekend. Matt Rhule's vision for the program and execution of that vision has been affirming to him and his family. The play of Dylan Raiola has also been a factor here.

The four-star is now planning to take his recruitment the distance, so Nebraska needs to strap in for some more twists and turns till December, but they're much better positioned now than they were in the summer. He's planning to get out to games at Texas and Oregon in the near future and could even return for another game at Nebraska late this season.

Rewatched the game and I don't know what the hell Shurmur and Colorado were doing. Why didn't they throw the ball quicker with shorter routes? 5 yard routes, WR screens, stuff like that. They just did the same thing over and over and let us tee off on Sanders. Why didn't they bring a TE or RB in to help block? So many empty sets with just the 5 OL to stop the rush. Why not a rollouts or bootlegs? Anything, I mean UTEP's QB got hit less, you can't tell me that UTEP's OL are more talented.

Another thing is how awful their OL was. This wasn't a White special with 6 or 7 guys at the LOS and you don't know who is coming. Most of the damage was done with 4 guys rushing and clearly identified who it was. Our pass rushers just simply whooped the man/men across from them. It wasn't chess, it was our guys beating their guys. Seems really stupid not to do something about that, to help the OL out that are getting beat. I have a very low opinion of the Colorado offensive coaches. The OL for Colorado was horrible, but Sanders doesn't help by not throwing it quick like the UTEP QB did and the playcalling certainly didn't help.

Another thing I noticed in the rewatch. I like a lot of things this offense did, or almost did. Lots of screen type plays to Barney and R Johnson, mix that in with our run game and a bit of downfield passing and this offense will be hard to stop. Just needs a little bit more work. We've got a good mix of plays going forward, pleased with Satterfield is headed.

Was able to confirm this morning that 2025 Lee's Summit (Mo.) North four-star wide receiver and Oregon commit Isaiah Mozee will be visiting Nebraska this weekend. Lot of eyes on this one obviously with his father now on staff, Huskers going all in in their pursuit of the Rivals250 prospect
