Raiola was the better QB

The 4q overthrow will haunt him (and us), but he was damn good tonight. The difference between he and Altmeyer is that Nebraska receivers were covered most of the night. Illinois receivers were running remarkably open all game. Altmeyer could have completed passes with his other arm if he wanted. Hell, he could have dropped kicked balls to his receivers.

Unable to login on my phone

Anybody else having this problem? I have an Android and I use the web browser as opposed to the app. When I try to login it says "Something went wrong. Please try again." This has been happening for a few days. I created a new password on my laptop to see if that would help but still no luck with my phone. I can login on my laptop no problems.

Another wonderful College Football Saturday!!

For those of you about 40+ years old, remember a typical football Saturday during the long ago “glory days.” Another Husker win - although occasionally a little too close for comfort - followed by a late afternoon and night of channel surfing other games. We couldn’t get enough football after another great Husker victory. Then bedtime was a time to reflect on what a great day it had been.

A little different kind of day today, isn’t it? I wish I could say I have gotten use to it.🤣

Football Nebraska-Illinois Analysis: Takeaways & what went right, wrong for Raiola

Last night was rough. @Steve Marik and @TimVerghese break down another Nebraska OT loss and give some good perspective going into Purdue Week:

Football WATCH: Matt Rhule, Dylan Raiola and more talk brutal OT loss to Illinois

I thought Dylan Raiola and Jahmal Banks gave the best perspective after last night’s loss. Be sure to check out those two press conference videos, especially the first minute or so of Banks. You can tell how hard this L hit.

You have to adapt

Clearly, Northern Iowa found something about our defense that could be exploited and did so. Shrek saw the film and used it, along with the experience from last season, to exploit our defense on steroids.

This is about adaptation. Clearly the jig is up on our defense, and we need to adjust. If we don't, this is just the beginning.
