Not a must win, but

Beating Indiana is a big opportunity to get a lot of monkey's off our back.

Tired of all the haven't won against a top 25 team since, or haven't beaten a ranked team on the road, or haven't won more than 5 since, or all the one score loss crap.

Win this game, put that crap behind us. Not a must win game, but a huge opportunity to move past a lot of crap and put it behind us.

O. Benson cancels FB season

Lincoln High got this going by quitting at halftime last Friday at Millard South. Now, Benson has sent a letter to staff and parents stating that they will forfeit against LSE and Millard South. Before the obvious change to two 16-18 A1 and A2 divisions in 2026 these programs ( and we can name 3 others in Omaha ) need to commit to the sport or not offer football at the school. It's the transfer rule that ruined football and basketball in Class A.

2 weeks to prepare

And this is the best you got. No adjustments to the offense or defense. I will see everyone in about 3-4 weeks. I will not subject myself to this incompetence... Time to try a new QB and TW needs to adjust his defense. The RPO kills him every time. Not sure I see anymore wins this year.

Ceyair Wright

Why the F was he not out there on that first series? Seriously WTF is wrong with our staff and personnel. Said he should start before the season took forever to play him, finally starts and he’s our best defender arguably every game he played. Now Hill is back so we sit and and keep…Hartzog on the field and they march down.

Recruiting Tim on the road

Was originally planning to head to St. Louis (Mo.) De Smet to see them take on Jamarion Parker and Cardinal Ritter College Prep, but our own Greg Smith is at that game so I cut my road trip in half and ended up in Blue Valley to see 2025 four-star LB flip target Dawson Merritt

As many know, Merritt is the son of Kansas City Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt. Blue Valley is taking on Blue Valley West tonight, who are led by Kansas commit Tate Nagy, son of Matt Nagy. Word around the stadium is multiple members of the Chiefs, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will be in attendance at some point tonight
