McGuire who had nothing to work with a year ago got upgraded across the board and the production is largely the same. What a terrible disappointment that group has been.

We had 3 ints and 2 fumbles. Our coach also gave Indiana short fields by going on 4th and 7, when we had not moved the ball. IMO we were not prepared to play that game. I know we can play much better. There have been other NU teams that have shit the bed before and played better after the game.

What exactly does Rhule want to teach when "Chasing 3"?

- Is it controlling the LOS and establishing the run? We are a balmy 93rd in rushing offense and 105th at yards per attempt (https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/yards-per-rush-attempt). We are down 50 yards per game and 1.0 yards per attempt year over year!

- Is it focusing on special teams? Last year we were 73rd, this year 107th. (https://www.bcftoys.com/2024-sfei)

- Is it turnover margin? We've improved drastically there...to 48th (but we are 93rd over the last 3 games). Still a failure...but an improved failure.

If I were "Chasing 3" those would be the among my top items of focus over last year (with continuing to stop the run...where we've fallen about 10 yards per game.)

I really wish Rhule would learn to focus on details.
