The 3 year plan is now 4

Rhule thought he could get good enough QB play out of Sims or maybe Purdy as placeholders for 2 years, while developing a young star for a break out season in year 3. It only goes up from there.

He didn’t count on those two being a complete train full of dumpster fires. So in comes Haarburg to manufacture some wins. Not great, really, not up to the task. Does not have the right skill set.

Fast forward to today and the plan is entirely different. Roll out the phenom and take your licks along the way.

Indiana exposed us, and now our confidence is rocked. Hopefully they can get some traction and eek out two more wins.

Fans won’t be thrilled, but having the non bowl streak end will inject some life into the fans and the team.

Regardless, changes among some assistants are absolutely non negotiable.

I knew this domino was going to fall

A player suing the NCAA for eligibility restrictions.
Wants 2 more years but if he wins there will be no more eligibility rules.
Are you ready for 30 or 35 year olds in College football that can't make the NFL?

Holgersen and Lincoln Riley

From Oklahoman.com 11/24/17:

“Holgorsen and Riley were together on Mike Leach’s Texas Tech staff for five years, with Holgorsen's departure to Houston helping lead to a promotion for Riley.

“ ‘He was probably the guy on the Texas Tech staff all those years, along with Mike that I was closest with,” Riley said. “He's a tremendous coach. I've got a lot of respect for him. A great friend — was very, very helpful to me, certainly, as a young coach, so I owe him a lot. I've got a lot of gratitude.’”

Interesting twist for Saturday.

QB Room under OCDH

OC responsibilities aside I have to think this was the best thing to happen for that room...

We all have seen Dylan regress and have thought about the possibility that he'd leave so that he can grow into the NFL guy he dreams of being. Heinrich deserves credit for sticking it out in the worst of times... that said, I had always feared that Danny Kaelin wouldn't stick around long especially this year after what we've witnessed.

Fast forward, I have to believe there's a new sense of excitement for these guys. Was Glen Thomas "The Guy" that these fellas wanted? and where has his influence been seen other than HH playing well when the other team was in prevent? I Truly think that this is the most exciting thing our QB room has had since we all dorked out at the possibility when SF came here... One may have to go back to the Callahan Era to have this type of QB excitement/possibility

Trying my hardest not to get to ahead of myself and excited but man did this Offense need this!
