First year of Rhule may be rough

The amount of turnover from the transfer portal and decommits may be bigger than a normal year. Next season may not be what people expect it to be. But honestly who cares. This program has known nothing but losing for a long time. If the initial roster turnover leads to future success than so be it. I have no idea if Rhule will be successful, but I do know what we currently had under Frost was not working. All you can hope is that brighter days are coming.

Oh I likey a lot on this one! I know the inside Nebraska staff made mention that Satterfield and Peetz could work as a pair. Well here we are.

So the question will be, who is the quarterback coach and who will be coaching another position? Satterfield has coached Wide Receivers and Tight Ends in the past. He was coach Rhule’s TE Coach at Baylor.

Rhule's teams pride themselves on defense - how good are they?

2014 Temple team: 24th Nationally in Yards per Game (347.1), 11th Nationally in Defensive Yards Per Play (4.75), 4th Nationally in PPG (17.5)
2015 Temple team: 20th Nationally in Yards per Game (337), 29th Nationally in Defensive Yards Per Play (5.04), 17th Nationally in PPG (20.1)
2016 Temple team: 3rd Nationally in Yards per Game (282.5), 6th Nationally in Defensive Yards Per Play (4.64), 11th Nationally in PPG (18.4)

2017 Baylor team: 112th nationally in yards per game, 117th Nationally in Defensive Yards per Play (6.46), 114th Nationally in PPG (35.9)
2018 Baylor team: 86 nationally in Yards per Game (425.5), 119th nationally in Defensive Yards per Play (6.49) 91st Nationally in PPG (31.7)
2019 Baylor team: 39th nationally in Yards per Game (360.4), 20th Nationally in Defensive Yards per Play (4.89), 19th Nationally in PPG (19.8)

His defenses at Temple were beyond fantastic and his 2019 Baylor team did significantly well, especially given the high-octane conference they were in. The yards per play numbers at sub-5.0 (2014, 2016, and 2019) are all very exciting, as to me that is a cutoff for a FANTASTIC defense (and the 2015 Temple basically hit that mark too).

MJ Police Affidavit

Well….those believing or circulating that this wasn’t perhaps as bad as some thought were dead wrong according to the affidavit. This is why you let the entire process play out before risking seeming like you’re condoning actions in hindsight, including former players, fans, and those in the media.
