McCollum spent the past two years at Siena. This past season, the 6-foot-2, 155-pound guard averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game while shooting 35 percent from 3 (52-of-146) and 89 percent from the free-throw line (105-of-118).

In November at the same ESPN Events Invitational that Nebraska played in over Thanksgiving, McCollum had solid outings against the P5 teams he played. Against Florida State, he scored 18 points with eight assists. Against Ole Miss, he recorded 24 points with another eight assists.

Basketball WBB: Nebraska adds Montana State PG Darian White

Amy Williams added her second piece through the transfer portal Tuesday afternoon with the commitment from Montana State point guard Darian White. The 5-foot-6 Idaho native has played 119 career games and will likely surpass the 2,000 point mark in her career.

White had her best season in her junior season for Montana State as she poured in a team-high 15.6 points per game while leading the team in assists (143), steals (84) and free throws made (152). She was named MVP of the Big Sky Conference Tournament after averaging 18.3 PPG, 5.0 APG, 2.7 RPG and 2.0 SPG. She was a First Team All-Big Sky Conference performer and was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.

In her senior season she averaged 14.3 PPG and was again named to the First Team All-Big Sky for her contributions.

She was the first MSU player in history to record 1,225 points, 425 rebounds, 325 assists and 225 steals in her career. She spent four seasons at Montana State and will spend her last season with the Huskers. This is a huge pickup for Nebraska who replaces the experience, leadership and scoring prowess of Sam Haiby. This also allows star guard Jaz Shelley to move back as a shooting guard which is her natural position. With Allison Weidner coming back from injury, White's addition makes next seasons' roster that more scary.

White joins Australian star Jessica Petrie as the two offseason additions for Nebraska.

Not a bad price for season tickets…

Considering no donation required.

Two tickets, east stadium, section 3, row 45 (20 yard line), $1330 each.

If it wasn’t such a pain in the ass to get from Santa Barbara to Lincoln, I’d consider taking in three or four games & donating what I couldn’t make it to.

.

Tristan Gebbia QB at The Ohio State now

had a pretty nice spring game 14 / 24, 127, and a 57 yard TD Pass. The repeat of that game is on right now BIG channel.

One other fail by the Frost in my opinion not to keep him find a way to keep him. He should’ve probably started that season and let Martinez work his way into the mix. We could have used that depth. as it was mostly 1 man show and nobody good to replace him when hurt or playing badly.

He apparently is good enough for second string QB in the spring game. Granted one of their top QBs is out hurt but still

Name to watch in transfer portal ... Georgia DT Bear Alexander

Rhule and Kirby Smart have a close bond as far as coaches go and I would not be suprised if yet another Georgia player ends up playing for the Big Red ... just speculation on my part but we clearly have made some inroads into that program at least in terms of visibility and as a nice potential new home in a major conference with serious NIL $$ available

Recruiting Quick Tyanthony Smith update...

Nebraska hosted four-star Texas linebacker Tyanthony Smith on Saturday. The defender's most recent visits were to Oklahoma, Miami, Texas, and USC. He came into the weekend with his main focus getting a chance to meet with Nebraska's coaching staff and he got the chance to do that.

"It was nice getting to talk with coach Rhule. He is a serious guy and he takes the game seriously," Smith said.

Smith, who averaged 11 tackles a game last season, said that getting check out Nebraska's practice was the best part of the visit.

"They’re very aggressive and the energy there is great," Smith said.

The Texas native didn't specifically talk to Rhule or defensive coordinator Tony White about how they view him in the defense but he did say he likes Nebraska's scheme. Right now the only official visit he has set up is to USC on June 16. He is still weighing his options when it comes to which other visits he will take.
