Colorado - Sean Lewis has been demoted from OC

Per ESPN, Sean Lewis has been stripped of OC title and may actually be removed as an assistant coach. Pat Shurmur is the new OC, and since he was in an analyst role before, someone has to be demoted from on-field assistant to an analyst. TBD if that will be Lewis or someone else.

Shedeur was complaining that he needed more feedback on what was open, so I guess this is the solution.

It appears that Deion will go to the transfer portal for assistant coaches too. I bet Lewis is really glad he stepped down from a HC job to take the OC job under Deion.

UPDATED: Per The Athletic, Lewis will be Co-OC with Shurmur, and still involved in play calling. Still no word on who will be removed/demoted on the staff to make room for Shurmur.

Kenny Walker: Man He Could Play

Not sure what tripped in my head, but I'm still amazed to this day how a deaf guy could be such a beast.

"Play to the whistle and even an echo after". Some would say.

Greatest thing about Kenny is I don't recall him ever getting a penalty for jumping offsides, playing after the whistle, or any kind of hooliganism.

Kenny, just flat played. And played amazingly well. He even got a shot with the Denver Broncos in the NFL. A truly special player.

Did Nebraska send in an official complaint over the review in the Minnesota game?

How the replay official didn’t overturn that call is beyond explanation. All the criteria was met. Between the two camera angles the runners knee and body NEVER touched the ground because he was on top a Minnesota player. And his elbow touched CLEARLY after the ball crossed the goal line. That was a touchdown and it cost Nebraska the game.

Basketball With season-opener days away, the Huskers are trying to get healthy

Hey, everyone. Fred Hoiberg is meeting with the media today ahead of the season-opener against Lindenwood on Monday at 7 p.m.

Here are the injury updates from the coach:

>> Keisei Tominaga was put in a boot to protect the ankle, but he's already out of it.
>> Mast, Allick and Lloyd all practiced a little bit, non-contact stuff. They all responded well to the activity.
>> Keita is back on the court and doing some spot-shooting drills. No running just yet for him, though. Those tests are coming.
>> Four guys have been diagnosed with strep throat, which has really limited the amount of bodies at practice. Hoiberg expects all of them to be back on the court at practice tomorrow.
