Welp

That's as much of giving the game away as there ever was. Similar to Minnesota but the difference is we're 10 games into the season. Sims is a turnover machine. Purdy sucks, he had a little spark, but him throwing an interception was inevitable. HH has turned into another version of Sims, but doesn't fumble as often.

Rhule really screwed himself. Literally not a viable option on the roster.

Recruiting Photos and observations as Nebraska prospects visit for Maryland game

The Huskers hosted recruits for the game today. It was a light day with no real 2024 targets. The headliners were 2025 TE Chase Loftin and 2025 EDGE Ochenyo Ojata. Hit the link for some photos.

Going Old School Veterans Day Thread

As the game is unavailable on national T.V. and Peacock is a pain in the rear for the internet challenged I have decided to just listen to the game in Honor of all who have served. This is a little story of when I was in the US Navy 1969 to 1973. I was attached to the 7th flt on board the USS Oklahoma City CLG-5 as a Radioman. The ship had a crew of about 1300 and of those about 100 were Radiomen. We were basically a floating communications station in charge of everything Navy from Pearl Harbor to the Indian Ocean. We were the 7th flt flag ship. Primary ops Vietnam. It was Nov 26th 1971 between 1a.m. and 5 a.m in the morning, back home it was Nov 25th. I had just been selected for E-5 and had been promoted to Tech Control Communications from the Crypto room. We were transiting from Singapore to Yankee Station in the South China Seas. I went all of 70, 71, 72, and 73 with no football except on this day. The O.U. Nebr. game was being carried over the Armed Forces Radio network. Trick was to find the radio station carrying it in the middle of a war without pissing off anyone. Our comms duty officer on that watch shift was Ens Brooks recent graduate 1970 UNL. Long story short we were able to get the game out of Saigon. We patched it through to the whole ship and it was an experience that I will never forget. Only game that I was able to hear in those 4 years. So today I will be listening to the game on the internet in honor of those that have served. ALL GAVE SOME AND SOME GAVE ALL. Have a great Veterans day. GBR

Andrew Dennis says Nebraska is a school that stands out

Dennis has developed a ton over the past year and has some of the best senior film I've seen from a Midwest offensive lineman this recruiting cycle. He recognizes the history of great OL play at Nebraska and sees it coming back under Rhule.

Penn St vs um

Yes! Lower case for my low respect for the self-annointed and so called "Harvard of the West". Nebraska U was already the Harvard of the west of the Mississippi. Seems that title got thrown around in Ann Arbor and they just thought it was "cool".

Sounds like MU admin is in a "win at all costs" mode. Suing the conference?!? Oh please!!!

Buckeye Bros have a lot of beef with how this is shaking down. I hope our resident bucks weigh in...

Recruiting Two return visitors on commit watch

Nebraska will host a pair of visitors this weekend that I'm putting squarely on commitment watch.

This weekend's visit will be Manske's fifth visit since Matt Rhule took over as coach. He was at Iowa State this past weekend and saw them lose to Kansas. Nebraska is in a great position with Manske and I don't think he stays uncommitted much longer.

Ojata, a pass rusher from Indiana, is another twitchy athlete that could play multiple spots in Tony White's defense. When he visited for the Northwestern game he spent a lot of time with Daniel Kaelin and Carter Nelson. The Huskers currently see him growing into the 'Jack' position,
