OT: New Netflix User Interface

I'm using a Fire TV stick on. Samsung TV. The new UI shows 2 or 3 shows only at a time. When I navigate up or down or row or left or right, a giant window opens for whatever show I'm on, and I can't see anything else exceptn1 or 2 shows to the right of it.

It's basically useless for browsing for shows. Which is how I mostly used it. It's crazy. I've had Netflix for 12 years and just canceled it. If it's nearly useless, why would I keep paying?

Am I the only one who hates this new UI?

Tempus Fugit. Memento Mori.....

From the Latin: Time flies. Remember death.

By all accounts, this Rutgers AD kept the program clean, just had a hard time against the Big Ten force in many sports. Still, they have battled, especially in football.

Health is more important than money, and family is too. Seems like a good guy in a crazy profession that is .......Big Ten Football.

Disney Land

I’ve never been, but thinking of heading there. I’m heading to Florida for the Dolphin-Bills prime time Thursday night game week 2. If I go I’m definitely doing Guardians of the Galaxy and a Star Wars ride. I only have 1 day so I’d love some suggestions for rides, what to do, potential time issues, hotels, etc. Here’s a Liz Hurley gif for your troubles. There’s rules after all 🙂.

Top 5 Worst Memories as a Nebraska Fan...

In the 'Tommy Armstrong' thread, I mentioned Buckhalter's fumble against Texas in 1999. It got me thinking. In your fandom, what are the 5 worst memories you have? For context, I started watching Nebraska in 1987. Here's mine:

  1. James Brown's pass to Derek Lewis in the 1996 Big 12 Championship Game. That play was the end of the 3-peat.
  2. Byron Bennett's missed FG against Florida State. Not #1 because it was the play that helped shaped the best team in CFB history (IMHO).
  3. Buckhalter's fumble against Texas in 1999. That fumble cost them a national title.
  4. Major Applewhite's touchdown pass in 1998. Home-win streak snapped.
  5. LeKevin Smith's interception and fumble against Texas Tech. Just fall down!
