Kielman politely turned Tren down when it appeard that Rhule was out with panthers owner issues. LL lost his OC and went to shit and Fickle will have to beat us again to get bowl eligible in year2 Not sure how long Wisky will settle for that. So not a great list.
Yup, I sadly picked Rhule again. Not because I think there’s nobody better in the “other” category, there is in my opinion. Cignetti has already proven that unequivocally. But nobody in the “other” category was on my (or anyone else’s) radar. I really can’t, in retrospect, say we shoulda hired X coach when I didn’t want that guy and/or would’ve questioned the move.
I really thought Rhule would bring in some top notch assistants. Why? I thought he had enough head coaching experience and we had enough money to do so. Boy was I wrong, he brought in a bunch of retread losers (Satt and Foley) and the rest were young up and comers with little experience. Think Rhule played himself thinking he could develop the young coaches and fix the
retards I mean retreads.
Hope he realizes some of his young coaches aren’t ready for this level, and his more experienced ones never showed they were ready for a job like Nebraska. (and probably never will be) Time to fix your shitty staff Matt or go down with them.
