Who Should We Have Hired?

Yeah, but did you think that 2 years ago? If you have a post saying you wanted Klieman over Rhule, and more importantly that Rhule might be the worst HC on the short list then go ahead and toot your horn. But I’m willing to bet nobody, but Panthers fans maybe, thought Rhule was/is worse than those coaches. Hind sight is 20/20
I never liked the hire. I wanted a run first coach. Rhule never excited me. Although there were times where I thought he was doing something here but then as I watched him collapse last season I figured he was a loser. Now I’m sure of it

The next OC

Who is out there?

It could be somebody in the NFL who’s willing to move to college to make a name for himself. It’s risky, because it’s an experiment that could end in one and done. Probably have to pay 2, million and guarantee three years. Not a lot of money for the right guy..

The big question is whether or not we think the Raiola experiment is worth continuing. he’s basically our franchise quarterback, and that scares the crap out of me. Sitting the $2 million man is not a good look when the guys behind him are unproven as well . His style of quarterbacking is out of vogue. it basically went away with Tom Brady. The last two alive are probably Kirk cousins and Joe Flacco. He’s zero threat to pick up first down with his feet. I think we are ****ed. Having a hard time imagining a scenario where this really turns around, unless you commit to throwing it fewer than 20 times per game and just running downhill.
No NFL guys no thank you.

Rhule needs to get an OC from a college program that has very good players that the OC can bring with him.

Who Should We Have Hired?

Yeah let’s go through it:

Lance Leipold: beats ranked teams. probably worse without his OC, still played Illinois closer than we did

Klieman: does a lot with shit talent, already had a conference championship under his belt and may add another this year

Luke Fickell: set to be 2-0 against Rhule

Deion: 1-1 against Rhule, would probably crush him if played today

Aranda: accomplished more with Rhule’s talent than Rhule ever could

Jamey Chadwell: who knows? too much of a pussy to coach P4

Bielema: obviously better than Rhule, not even a debate

So yeah, Rhule is quite literally the worst one.

You forgot Matt Campbell since you have mention all the other bozo’s..

Who Should We Have Hired?

Kielman politely turned Tren down when it appeard that Rhule was out with panthers owner issues. LL lost his OC and went to shit and Fickle will have to beat us again to get bowl eligible in year2 Not sure how long Wisky will settle for that. So not a great list.

Yup, I sadly picked Rhule again. Not because I think there’s nobody better in the “other” category, there is in my opinion. Cignetti has already proven that unequivocally. But nobody in the “other” category was on my (or anyone else’s) radar. I really can’t, in retrospect, say we shoulda hired X coach when I didn’t want that guy and/or would’ve questioned the move.

I really thought Rhule would bring in some top notch assistants. Why? I thought he had enough head coaching experience and we had enough money to do so. Boy was I wrong, he brought in a bunch of retread losers (Satt and Foley) and the rest were young up and comers with little experience. Think Rhule played himself thinking he could develop the young coaches and fix the retards I mean retreads.

Hope he realizes some of his young coaches aren’t ready for this level, and his more experienced ones never showed they were ready for a job like Nebraska. (and probably never will be) Time to fix your shitty staff Matt or go down with them.
