C(lol)orado getting trounced by Jayhawks

That BYU - A State game was crazy at the end, and what does ASU do? They only rush 3 and let the Cougs QB launch a pass to the end zone. Now, it was short but the BYU player caught it, reminded me of when they came to Lincoln and stole the win on that Hail Mary. When are coaches ever going to learn? Rush 5 and don't give a QB time to get the pass off.
I didn't see that game, but ASU has really snuck up on everyone and looks like the favorite to win the Big 12. Wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch with BYU in the title game, which I think would happen if K-State beats Iowa State.

How ASU lost to a bad Cincinnati team is beyond me.

Remember ,The OC Rhule wanted at first……

Another fabrication by the chimp. Multiple boosters of substance told me LAST year that Satterfield wasn't his first choice. I haven't asked who was nor do I care now that Holgerson is calling plays.
Matt Rhule hired 11/26/22
Marcus Satterfield hired 12/1/22

Pretty quick turnaround for a non-1st choice

Also remember Rhule had no backup plan at QB coach

Bama turning into Nebraska

I think bama had great coaching and a good ole boy network that got nil to players before nil..
now that nil is legal I'm not too sure many can afford to have a bench full of 5 stars sitting on their hands..
there will still be top teams but maybe not with the strangle hold on top talent.
because other teams can pool thier money and chip away at them benches, one at a time.
the trick seems to have enough horses with the right coaching, them 2 things

Yep, same as happened to Clemson. The only difference is Clemson got their comeuppance a little earlier because they hadn't compiled the depth that Alabama had

Give Holgerson Whatever TF he wants.

seems the question is does rhule want the penn state job? or coach at NU for a decade?
cause if he wants the penn state job, in a couple years, holgerson has a clear path to HC in a place he seems fitted for..
sipple needs to ask rhule this at the next press conference..then everyone knows where they stand on the issue and plan accordingly.

but mostly beat iowa
I don’t think Penn state has any current interest in Matt Rhule.

Remember ,The OC Rhule wanted at first……

I find it hard to believe Satterfield was the best Offensive Coordinator that Rhule could have gotten with our budget. Satterfield is one of the Top 10 highest paid OCs in all of college football! We're paying him as much or more than Texas, Georgia, Oregon, Miami, etc. are paying their OCs.....even though he's never even produced a Top 50 offense.

Give Holgerson Whatever TF he wants.

Does anyone know how much Holgorsen is getting paid by us right now?

I don't think he'll get any good head coaching offers after this season, but I could see a team like Oklahoma, Alabama, or Florida going after him to be their O.C.

Dylan Raiola

I think he would need at least a year with us before being offered another head coaching gig at a P4 team. This end of the season will be a very small sample size.

If what @dinglefritz said is true and Dana was too “tired” at the beginning of the year, I don’t see him as a guy wanting to jump back to a head roll at this level anytime soon. He no doubt had multiple OC offers and only took a consultant position at TCU.

Possible he sees Dylan as a belt-notching type of project. I’m all for the marriage if we can get it! Dylan threw it 39+ times and we blew out what some claimed was a “tougher” Fickell team. Anyone who says that can’t work here is a moron. It is harder to do, yes but anything can work anywhere with the right coaches and players.
Those were Dana's exact words on Sports Nightly. He said he was too tired and wasn't ready to coach again right away. He worked 2 days per week breaking down film and working on game plans for TCU and then went and did other non-football stuff the rest of the week. He didn't even help on game days.
