I have a good friend who’s a Bama fan. He’s been 💩ing on the new coach all year. I want to tell him to just STFU. They have a really good coach. Saban was on of a kind. You’ll not find another.
Secondly the speed of the decision makes me think top down. Getting payroll for additional people approved wouldn't be something that happened within a couple of weeks in normal circumstances from my experience.

This was a bit of a 'baby step', but it was a step that NU had to take. Shedding the ridiculous bowl streak is a huge relief. It was also nice to do it against a team that has totally owned NU for a decade. Yes, Wisconsin is currently a damaged program - but NU has routinely lost to programs in worse shape than the Badgers.
It was a great weekend for the Huskers. We get to enjoy the bowl season. We can look forward to next year.
A&M deserves to lose after calling timeout when the clock was running with 16 seconds remaining in the game. Auburn had no timeouts and there’s little chance they’d have been able to run one more play and then get the kicking unit in. Just an utterly stupid move by the A&M HC that saved Auburn.
