So it’s just pay to play that the stupid NCAA says is against the rules.
BumpWhat happened to prince can’t spell his complete name, is he hurt or just isn’t consistent with his playing?
Reactionary idiots, yes. We just played by far the two best offenses we will play this year. And Gifford didn't look so good in those two games, but neither did most of the rest of the defense.there you go again calling other posters idiots…. 🙄
Which makes it almost exactly the same, with regard to ratios. Considering there are 11 playoff spots open for 67 teams - essentially 1 in 6 teams get into the playoff. 1 in 5.3 get into the NCAA tourney.Your comparing an apple to a orange.. can’t compare the two..
362 Division basketball teams.. There are 133 FBS football teams..
checking in on these with 4 games to goall regular season over/unders:
Passing Yards - 2669.5
Passing TDs - 20.5
Rushing Yards - 199.5
Rushing TDs - 5.5
keep in mind sack yardage lost counts against rushing totals in college, unlike in the NFL
I've had that dope on ignore for over a year so I can't read it's posts, but it always warms my heart to see them schooled. Well done.Fixed it for you.
well, Rhule and 100% of the reporting say different.Rhule announced after a couple of games that he was redshirting and that he wasn't fully recovered from his injury. Now he's fully recovered and has practiced. He can see the field this week and still redshirt, and I think that's what we're going to see.
Can’t help the modern day players are more like pussy’s..seriously.. most star players have been opting out of bowl games these last few years.. it's another chance to get injured and there is little to gain from it, unless you're a backup player trying to get noticed.
Also, I suppose the trip to Florida/Texas/California would be nice for a kid from Nebraska, but I doubt it means much to the players who are actually from Florida/Texas/California etc.
Now a playoff means something, and ofc the players want to play in that game, but a bowl game these days is kinda for losers.. (think about it from a championship mindset.. that's where all the losers end up.). And if you're a fan looking at this as your super bowl moment or just something meaningful, then I'm sorry, you really are living in another world.. which ironically is where most Nebraska fans are living these days.
It seems like we've had quite a few TEs that haven't panned out over the last decade or so. It was the less-recruited guys like Stoll and Allen that did well, but highly-recruited guys like Rollins, Hickman, Rafdal, Carnie, etc. didn't do much. Fidone has had injuries....hopefully Carter Nelson doesn't become another one that disappears.
Your comparing an apple to a orange.. can’t compare the two..The playoff is “the show” - the rest of the bowls are similar to NIT tourney. We have to at least make the NIT!!!
You forgot Chris septic I know I butchered his last nameIt seems like we've had quite a few TEs that haven't panned out over the last decade or so. He learned from bama and studying Michigan. That explains a lot about how they anticipated our plays both on offense and defenseI didn't read any of the links, too lazy, but my gawd it all makes sense now! Obviously Cignetti is a cheater, you can tell just by looking at the evil bastard.
