Former AD Bill Moos to Publish Memoir

Moos was 66 years old when he was hired at NU and clearly at the tail end of his career. It sounds like alot of rebuilding of the athletic department and culture was needed after the Eichhorst debacle, which is a big endeavor for an administrator approaching retirement. He made the popular hires of Frost and Hoiberg, but both floundered out of the gate which compounded the challenges he faced, and it sounds like he responded by becoming the invisible guy in his job. I think NU was a bigger challenge than Moos was willing to take on at that stage of his career and it ultimately gets back to another mis-step by NU administration in picking him to begin given the circumstances of where the athletic department was.

EA Sports CFB26 Trailer Released

Nah most of us got it. According to him he was stupid enough to send the invite last night. Somewhere Brock Lesnar is opening his invite, throwing raw meat at his TV wondering who TF this fella is
I posted that to watch your continued tantrum.

It worked.

You are a puppet on a string. It’s so easy. Enjoy the commute this morning, winner!

Work from home LOL. More like, NOT work from home. F’n COVID dumbassery.
Don't get me started on the "Work From Home" Crowd.

They have become HUGE bitches. "If my company tries to make me go back into the office I will quit!!!"

My favorite is the "I am actually MORE productive when I work from home" Yeah, I am sure that is true and I am sure you are super worried about being more productive for the company.

And of course "I get more done at home because I am not constantly interrupted by coworkers coming to talk to me"

All I know is that since Covid and working from home is that...

My gym is PACKED during the workday (when I am off in the summers)
I can't get a dentist appt because my guy is so booked up during the day.
I have NEVER seen so many people taking walks and bike rides during the day

The guy liked to take a nip now and then, so did Bob Devaney and his Michigan/Wyoming mafia. He really had no other choice than to hire the "pick of the litter" Frost. Most of the state wanted him to despite all of us now knowing it was a mistake. The guy used to stand on the sidewalk outside Memorial and welcome fans, I thought that was pretty cool, I got a selfie with him and my nephew. His checking out to live back in WA at the end there was inexcusable.

Wrestling worse than football and basketball?
Wrestling tourney's just suck. You leave school at 6 or 7in the morning...you get done at like 5pm...it is always on the weekend.

Seeding meetings the day/night before are so stupid and time consuming for no reason.

Football sucks on Saturday and Sunday...and during the summer. The season, Monday-Friday is awesome.

I have never done track or CC.

Basketball is annoying because the games are always on different days.

These are just my opinions though.

I can tell you that golf and bowling are the crown jewels now.

We keep it all.

You have a few HS students help run the camp and toss them 100 dollars each for the week.

But I agree, most HS coaches are totally underpaid for the actual amount of hours they put in. Football is brutal. Wrestling might be the worst.

Golf, the pay is okay for the amount of actual practice time.

I don’t know that keeping half of that is INCREDIBLE - however if a coach can get a little extra bonus for a camp like this good for them. High School coaches are so underpaid given the time they invest in the extra curricular activities.

Man, I miss running summer camps for and literally stealing money from parents. I mean, helping kids get better. :)

The VB coach at my school makes INCREDIBLE jack over the summer because so many 3rd-8th graders sign up for VB camp. 100 dollars a kid, I think last time I checked they had over 100 kids signed up...for that 5 day camp.

Football Archie Wilson, Prokick Australia and roll-out punts

I'm assuming we'll get an official announcement from the team on the addition of Australian punter Archie Wilson today, or early this week with team workouts beginning today.

To get a better idea of roll-out punting (rugby style in the United States) and what it's like to be an athlete at Prokick Australia, where Wilson has trained for a year and a half, I caught up with Prokick coach Tim Gleeson:
