Satts forgets he is not as South Carolina and there is no Spencer Rattler to be found on the field. Maybe he came in thinking he was a great QB coach who could coach Sims up, but turns out the success as SC was more Rattler than Satts. They should fire the entire offensive staff and bring back Mickey as offensive coordinator and rebuild from there.
I don't see Rhule firing any of his buddies (or the son of a buddy). Especially after only one year.

Rhule is terrific, so far a home run. Tony White terrific. Entire defensive staff A+. Entire offensive staff C at best. Give the offense another year then prepare for some changes. There has to be a quarterback out there who can lead Husker nation, there has to be a running back who can average 145 yards on the ground and a receiver who can get open enough to hit 100 yards on a regular basis. But, those players will go for not if the position coaches don’t get their acts together. We are moving in the right direction but Rhule has to kick some butt on the staff side of the house.

Wait ...a rb who can avg 145 per game....Yeah get their acts together , Laughing

After what we have witnessed over the last 7 years; if someone would have told me this team would have 5 wins going into November, missing almost the entire starting offense?

I think most of us would be extremely pleased.

The 6th win will be tough. However it's very doable and a bowl berth of any kind should make this much more palatable to the current class, the transfer portal and growing the NIL pool.

take a little tiny step away and try and view the big picture. just because the total husker money pool is divided up in 2023 as it has been in the past does not mean some of it can't be redirected. other "blue bloods" seemed to have either figured it out or are in the process. might take some thinking outside the box or maybe changing the names of those in charge.
I understand that but I can tell you that most large donors want their name on a plaque in a building. Anybody thinking whining about it on a message is going to change that is nuts.

anybody sticking their head in the sand and thinking nil will just go away and we can cheap shot it is lacking on insight. kind of like the fauci shots and ignoring actual scientific data. smother yourself in ignorance once again we're used to it.

WTH are you talking about? I’m not debating the importance of NIL. I’m just pointing out the problem with the logic of thinking large donors are going to give similar amounts to some QB who may never play. I sure as hell personally wouldn’t. I MIGHT consider hiring him for a financially inflated PR job but that’s about it. There is NO WAY in hell we’re going to buy a QB without having a winning program in place first.

a real backasswards way of approaching a lack. the nil program at unl has fallen behind. rhule will only go so far riding on the cheap. the money is there and like it or not will need to be distributed a little differently. it's like setting on hundreds of millions and we can't give a decent tip to the workers at our downtown business luncheon.

Rhule isn’t in control of NIL and I guarantee you that KU and KSU aren’t winning because of NIL. Maybe their QBs have great NIL estimated values NOW but I can almost guarantee you they’re not getting paid that.

Face it. We don’t have the ridiculous money donors that Texas or Oregon have. IF winning is totally dependent on NIL, we’re screwed.
