Hy-Vee deli on 84th & Park Drive about 30 years ago. It was a monster!
If we’re gonna bring up the past, and especially in the LaVista area…Side Pockets like 10-15 years ago on 84th and Giles.
That was a true monster.
OMG I had totally forgotten about pork tenderloin sandwiches. Do folks still eat them? I remember my Dad loved them when I was growing up--maybe it's a Nebraska/midwestern thing?
They are a big deal in Indiana. State of Iowa does a pretty good job too. Not a big deal in Nebraska

A few years ago, I had a tenderloin that wasn’t that great and I wasn’t that happy with it at the time, but it could have been worse I guess.
Now all the craziest people I know are recommending this new tenderloin, but it costs ten times as much as the other tenderloin and I’m pretty sure it will give me food poisoning and kill me. So I went with the tenderloin from a few years back.

I can say I had one from Winchester bar in Omaha the other day and it sucked. I’m definitely craving a good one now!
