What I'd Like To See Tomorrow

What I would like to see tomorrow? Glad you asked.

7 am - go to gym
830 am - take pup for a run
10 am - take a good, healthy dump. shower, eat

12pm - go to Mich - Fla game with my brightest husker polo on.
1215 pm -215 pm - Drink as much as possible
230pm - watch a game i don't care about
7 pm - Uber back to house
710pm - 10 pm - watch Nebbbbby win by 33 points. Also drink heavily
midnight - pass out on couch trying to watch a pac 12 game.

Should be an exciting day.

For me, we don't necessarily have to score on our first drive. Just don't go 3-and-out on the first drive.

While we are talking about "like to see", I'd like to see the Huskers offense put up 45+ points. I'd like to see the D hold them to 14 or less. This could be not only a statement for the team but also for the fans to start to dream again.

A strong showing could create a ton of optimism. A 10-13 point win that maybe requires a 4th qtr score or stop will let a lot of doubt creep in.

This is the easiest game of the year. It should be a stat builder game for us. We'll be breaking in some new players and schemes, so I'm not expecting excellence.

Offense.
No sacks allowed. No illegal motions or false starts. No INT's. Rush average 5+ ypc.

Defense.
No plays over 20 yards.

Special teams.
11 players on the field.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

In the game vs. Ark St
  • Start fast - score on first drive and make them punt when they get the ball
  • Play aggressive D - I don't know what Diaco's style is but I hope it's aggressive and meant to disrupt and apply pressure
  • Limit mistakes on offense
  • Run the ball effectively
If that's what you want to see, enjoy the Alabama game.

I'll do that as soon as folks stop with this I'll be happy if we tear it up on the ground stuff. Tom Osborne is gone and Devaney is dead. We are Air Nebraska. Love it or watch Alabama if ground chuck is your only favorite dish.

I love everything on your list. If we can come out and do that; you won't heat a peep from me!

Id like to see a team that looks focused and well coached. It should be fun to see how all the changes on both sides of the ball look to.

I'd like to see a win. An easy win would be preferable but also a dominating performance would be ideal. I want to have faith that this team is for real. Even if they aren't for real, give me another week of believing it.

I'd like to see the game put away early and the backups getting some valuable playing time. Build that experience in the depth department.

If we get what you are asking for on O we will score more than 100 points... I hope that you aren't disappointed with only 50 points...

The question was what would I "like" to see, not what I expect...;)

I would love to see 100 points though!:) I would be tickled to death to score 50 points in the first game!!

Game day is here and I am so excited!!
