Now that we are finishing up our 4th year in the conference is there a team you like to see lose or does it very from sport to sport?

Sure we will get different reasons why.

For myself, I've grown to dislike Ohio State regardless what sport it is.

I'm gonna say Minnesota, but primarily because I live here in Minnesota and am tired of the locals thumping their chests these last two years.

After this coming season my answer may change as soon as we set things right once again.

It's funny, I've been here 5 years now and they didn't make a peep the first 3 years...

Have relatives that live in Minnesota, and they are quite proud of their back to back wins against Nebraska it's been quite accomplishment for them of course you have to remember growing up with them and beating them 84-13 and winning 16 consecutive times they played threw out our life time and beating them no less then 24 points I can see why you are getting the raising from the locals just like my cousins giveing back to me.

Please. This is an easy one. Although, Pedey State is making a strong run for that spot. Pedey has shown recently that they're as myopic and delusional as herkie. You should read their message boards once-in-awhile. It's not just their sick denial of Rev. Joepa. They seem to think east coast people are much friendlier than those in the Midwest and heartland areas, which is a crock . Their own people in Philly are the biggest assholes you'll ever find. And still claim their '94 team was better than Nebraska, failing to realize their defense was ranked about 70th in the nation. There. Got that off my chest. Thanks for asking.

So you don't want to see the Badgers make the Final 4?

Even though they have embarrassed us in Football 3 times, I admire what Barry Alvarez has done with the Football and Basketball programs at Wisconsin or maybe the fact that they are also red and white and look more like us.

Will be rooting for them to win it all. Root for them in bowl games. Typically I like their teams and coaches, exception Brett Beliema, but their fans are nasty and the most obnoxious I have come across since the Buffallos, In Colorado it was the fans, the team, the coaches as well as the media that resembled dirt bags.

Pedophile State. I never thought we would find worse fans than Colorado or Mizzou, but Pedo State beats them hands down.

Yes, I experienced what your talking about after the inaugural game with them in Madison. But after getting to my motel I ran into a couple of of guys that where cool and concerned how we were treated, they even told me and my father to come down and have some beers with them, they were great to talk too and they seemed to dislike Iowa just like some of us do.

They even mentioned that would be one game they would like too see now that we are in the B1G is a Nebraska/ Iowa Football game.

It didn't take a shared conference affiliation or a sexual predator scandal for me to root against Penn State. For me that started back when they were an independent, and the door prize at the weekly booster club drawing was that you got to officiate the upcoming football game.*

*This is a mild exaggeration, but very mild.

Ahhhhh 1982.... Trust me I haven't forgotten that one.

I haven't developed enough hatred for any team for me to root against them. Iowa fans annoy me the most out of Big Ten fanbases, but I'm indifferent toward the team and program itself. I guess I do root against them just to get their fans to shut up. But it's nothing like my dislike for Texas and Notre Dame.

I guess I dislike Penn State after their fan behavior during that 2002 game coupled with the Sandusky scandal. But I'm actually hoping that they're at least respectable to maintain the respectability of this league.

All I know is...as I read these teams, the central theme is that we were blown out by most of them in football. Even Iowa, for God sakes! Thanks Bo, you sack of sh*t, for stinking up our program. God, I am so thankful we are rid of that scourge.

Not Pedey. We've grown a heartful dislike for them cause.....well.......they're disgusting, myopic tools not good enough to even sip the spit in our drinks. They've earned that distinction from their actions, not what they've done on a field.

Ped state. Can't hate on teams that have beat us bad.....that's on us. but what continues to happen in Happy Valley is sickening. Felt sorry for the current players and the fans after the initial shit went down. Nobody deserves that from a program. But they won't stfu and continue to see themselves as victims. Hope they lose every game, match , debate.

I have one standard: "To be the Best, you have to Beat the Best". In Football I cheer for All Big 10 Teams to Win in every game. The one Big 10 Team I cheer hardest against: "Which ever Big 10 Team Nebraska is Playing this Week".

In Basketball and Baseball, I cheer hardest against which ever Big 10 Team is playing today.

Other than that, I really don't care which teams in the Big 10 beat which teams in the Big 10.

However, with that said...I do like to see Michigan lose, a lot in any sport, but I want Ohio State as undefeated as possible when we play them...in every sport.

There you go...

PSU by far

Used to respect that school, but after what happened with joepa their entire fan base just seems like they live on an entirely different planet.

This is a weird one for me. I see people hate OSU, I dont get it. How can you not respect the best team in the conference hands down? They by themselves may have given the B1G some respect from outsiders.

I like to see Iowa win because of the fact that I want them to be at their best whenever we beat them. I love seeing them lose just to shut their fans up. Their shithole fans are the worst ever (okay not all of them but a large majority). We could beat them by 50 and they would make up some crap on how they gave us the game.

Have to have some respect for MSU as they are becoming consistently good. Have always hated UM in a way due to them thinking that Ryan Leaf was better than Peyton Manning and that they think they could have beat us that year.

People root against OSU for the same reasons they root against the Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers, Notre Dame, etc. A long history of success and over exposure by the media. Mostly because they see these teams as a threat to their own.

Of course they'll manufacture reasons and twist or generalize facts to make it a moral issue and justify their hate, it really it's about wins and losses.

I personally have always rooted against Notre Dame and Michigan. USC under Carroll and Florida under Meyer. Alabama, Florida State, MSU, and Wisconsin lately. And will root against PSU and Nebraska if they return to previous heights.

But I don't "hate" anyone and don't confuse why I root against them with some manufactured ethical reason.

Of course the caveat is if I root against a team due to their fans. Of course it is usually because of an arrogant or demeaning minority portion of a fan base and not what the total fan base is as a whole.

I do root for most every team in the Big 10 against OOC teams and in bowls.

I don't really root against any team in the BIG. I only root against Notre Dame and USC. Pretty much a lifetime of dislike for these 2 schools. I could throw Florida State in there as well. Yes, that is it Notre Dame, USC and FSU in that order are teams I despise. Michigan would come the closest of the B1G schools but I don't really root against them. I root for every BIG team their bowl games and in the NCAA tournament. Of course not when they play us.

I don't like Ohio State due to their trash fans.

Seriously put down the meth, stop collecting unemployment, and quit pulling a Kaz on your wife after the Browns lose again.

Anyone who is smart from Ohio has already left the state of Ohio.

Also, 90% of their fans couldn't get into the university they cheer for.

I could keep going, pages worth, but I'll stop for now.

After being at the B10 Bball tourney, I have to say Penn St. How anyone can cheer for that school is beyond me.
