When all this conference stuff started happening, we did get out ahead of it. To be honest, I don’t really like the BIG, however, it is better than being bounced around from the Pac12 or Big12 never knowing where we will land. SEC is not an option and the BIG unfortunately is the best place for us.
This goes for all sports as well. Especially, Vball and Bball. We may struggle to win championships, but so will everyone.
Think of it as long term insurance. By 2030, all conferences will probably have sifted out. With our current state the last 10 years, we are extremely lucky that we didn’t end up as an independent.
I don’t think we were at the top of anyone’s list for potentially joining there conference the last 10 years, unless the AD at some school was totally GEEKED on Vball. LOL.😂
Let’s count us fortunate that it has played out like it has.
Now go out a start dominating the BIG in all sports. Deal with it.
Sad side note; We will have to figure out how to get past this Officiating thing. It’s really a thing, and it’s awful
